      It  was  quite  a  bizarre  state  that  the  case  got  stuck  in.  Even  though  the  MO  was  getting  clearer  with  every  murder  that  they  add  to  the  ever  expanding  list,  they  weren’t  getting  any  closer  to  the  assassin  herself.  At  least  that  was  a  thing  they  knew  now,  or  rather,  that  was  a  thing  that  Eve  knew  for  quite  a  while,  but  only  now,  working  under  a  new  boss,  could  she  actually  take  into  serious  consideration.  Hoping  for  new  clues  to  be  found  as  she  makes  her  way  to  the  newest  crime  scene  (  knowing  there  will  be  scraps  at  best  ),  Eve  stops  short  when  she  sees  an  unfamiliar  man,  walking  around  as  though  he  owned  the  place.  

     “ Excuse  me.  Yeah,  hi.  Who  are  you  and  what  are  you  doing  here? ”  She  calls  out  as  she  crosses  the  distance  to  him,  mistrust  shining  in  her  dark  eyes.
