I know I've been talking about a second mega comic and possibly a third, fourth, fifth. But I just don't want to do it anymore. Or at least not right now. The amount of time going into a mega comic just isn't worth it. Drawing doesn't excite me anymore and it feels like a waste of time. But I did want to share the ideas so that they don't become lost media.

#2: Intendant of Deneva. Prequel to Corruption. Mirror Justin Straal (the intendant of Deneva) tries to 'solve' a civil war on Deneva, but actually uses it to his own advantage to seize control of the planet's politics. Rebels on the planet have warned the Chancellor about this for years, but she did not listen as the Terrans supplied weapons and food. Mirror Paul Stamets comes over to the I.S.S Glenn to ask his friend Justin for help about the mycelial core he is building.

#3: Affection, Like Art. Prime Paul takes Gray to an art museum on Earth. Gray opens up about some anxiety regarding his training on Trill and Paul tries to talk him through it (in his own unique Paul-like ways).

#4: Despite Fear, We Commend. A story of how mirror Paul and Hugh met. Slow burn. Hugh is a spy planted by Lorca. Paul knows and warns him when others start getting onto it. Not in the same timeline as my other mirror comics.

#5: Transcience. Set in season 5 of Discovery, Paul talks to a hologram of Justin to work over some grief and guilt (like the hologram of Hugh's grandmother).

There's a sixth idea that I still really do want to make, no matter how much time or effort it will demand. But I don't have enough of an idea for the plot to describe it here. And I don't wanna rush that one. It must be perfect.

The full comic

This took two months. Scriptwriting, storyboards, losing motivation etc. But I'm glad I finished it. It's not just some art I make, it's a way for me to safely process my own thoughts and feelings through my comfort character, Paul. So almost each comic I make is very dear to my heart and my experiences.
