I’m actually pretty glad gumballs ending now and being put out of it’s misery. That show went downhill and into a pile of manure really fast when it tried to be edgy while also trying to tackle issues it didn’t know how to handle.

And honestly, even when a show has good episodes, it can be spoiled by how they handle their bad ones because it is a reflection of what the creator is willing to put out there. It shows them at their worst.

And yes, creators need to sign off on written episodes before they air when they are involved with the production. Inconsistencies can’t always be blamed entirely on different writers because animation isn’t a free for all, it’s a collaboration with oversights from the creator (unless they just stopped caring).
