this scene is sooo important to me like the first time percy sees his dad and its him saving his life? surrendering to his brother just to protect his son? they captured this scene so well.
your best friend who gets jealous whenever someone else is talking to you but also loves it when you come over to his cabin and fall asleep with him

after the busy day at camp, you and percy had yesterday, it resulted in both of you falling asleep talking in his bed.
you wake up to the sound of brief knocking on the coral covered cabin door, percy stirs a little in his sleep his arm that was already wrapped around you tightens subconsciously at the interruption.
you open your eyes slowly after hearing what sounded like an irritated grover on the other side of the wall. “percy, we have to go see what he wants”
percy sighs “okay fine only if we can go back to sleep after?” he gets up off the bed. and begins to make his way over to the door, annoyed grover ruined his sleep and also the time alone with you.
he opens the door quicker than he thought resulting it making a loud bang against the wall behind it, causing some campers to look over. percy rolls his eyes “grover i want to sleep what's up?”
“oh my gods finally, i thought you died or something what took you so long” grover exclaims as he looks around percy spotting you staring sweetly at the satyr from your spot in percy’s bed.
“oh, i see” he furrows his eyebrows “sorry angel i didn't realise you were here!” grover blushes awkwardly.
percy grabs the door closing it slightly so grover can't see you anymore. “yeah, she is. so uh what did you want again?”
“i was just coming to let you know that there's going to be a game of capture the flag tomorrow so make sure you don't sleep too late and if you need any tools the hephaestus cabin is open, chiron told me to tell every cabin but that's all so i'll go now bye!” grover rushes away to the next cabin.
“thank the gods i didn't think he would stop talking, anyways lets go back to sleep now we can deal with the capture the flag stuff later” percy falls onto his bed and opens his arms which you gladly shuffle towards.
“yeah i like the quietness in here” you mumble against percy’s chest.
“guess that means you should spend more time with me then” percy shrugs smiling into your hair.
which you would definitely be taking him upon his offer.

Everyone talking about how they are the most excited to see Grover in a wedding dress (if/when) we get a second season of the Percy Jackson series. And I understand the excitement for all the giddy moments that are to come from that, as the book is adapted episode per episode :,D. BUT BUT !! I myself am actually more excited to see that one emotional conversation that Percy has with Tyson at the very end of The Sea of Monsters :,). That conversation is so precious to me, and I hope it makes it Final Cut of the series. I want the scene to be brought to life beautifully and accurately.
I want to see Percy go and apologize to Tyson for feeling ashamed and annoyed of having him as a half cyclops brother at the beginning of the book; only for Tyson to tell him that he had asked Poseidon for him.

— any relationship with percy is inevitably slow burn because hes just oblivious to any hints (or thinks you’re out of his league so assumes he’s misinterpreting)
— but post confession it moves quite swiftly
— you’d probably already met sally before you guys got together (you and her lwk team up on him)
— he is absolutely teaching you to skateboard, you gripping his arms as the board wriggles under your feet.
— not your fault when you fall at the cost of his bad explanation of how to ollie.
— your initials are on his board and he lets you pick when he gets new trucks too
— typa guy to flick water at you after washing his hands (which results in a VERY unfair water fight)
— obviously his fatal flaw is loyalty, which means he only has eyes for you, this does not, however, mean others don’t have eyes for him, but eventually you get over the fact everyone fancies your boyfriend
— speaking of loyalty, within a matter of weeks, you are both incredibly secure in your relationship, so i don’t feel like jealousy would be a big issue
— you have both trusted each other with your lives more times than probably normal, so trusting each other with other people is kind of trivial
— kisses you all the time, he just lives for it, but usually kisses just turn into smiling on each other’s lips
— this being said, there’s never a dull moment between you, when you’re together all of a sudden everything has comedic value (even if it means having to make eye contact, look away quickly mid conversation and giggle over what happened later)
— i lied, dull moments are when you have to be apart, not the distance, but how he deals with it. Even if it’s like tops a week, his communication just drops almost completely. He tries to get better at it after the first time you bring it up, but it’s never quite perfect.
— he tries harder for you and his reassurance settles you though, and this bump in the road (catch the reference guys) is smoothed over, especially as you get older and can spend more time together.
— quality time is so so so important to him, so even if you guys go on a date, you’re gonna end up either lying in his bed with ribs sore from laughing and a snoring boyfriend or with makeshift ping pong on his dining table and a smashed vase you’ll have to explain later.
— also i feel like he wouldn’t mind you stealing his clothes because he only has like a few staple items in his rotation, so he’s not exactly complaining when the hoodie he hasnt worn in eight months disappears for a brief period of time and then returns smelling exactly like you
— i feel like hes not a big gift giver, but again, neither of you really mind this because you’re both teenagers still and understand materialism isnt a priority (especially when surviving the school year without losing a limb isn’t guaranteed)
— so when you do get him a gift, its a pretty big box FULL of all kinds of blue food
— also, he would so dance with you, but not in a slow romantic way, it’s more like AC/DC blaring through the apartment and hopping around each other playing air guitars
— because your guys’ relationship is so open and trusting, some people would feel it crosses into unbothered or casual. this is not the case at all, there is not a universe where you are casual about each other at all, your worlds orbit around each other and everyone can see it.
