𝜗𝜚 KAGEYAMA TOBIO
his favorite fall activity to do with you is pumpkin carving
it's an intimate activity without being too high maintenance or energy
he enjoys going to the pumpkin patch and watching as you grab various different sized pumpkins, trying to find the perfect one for your newest carved pumpkin
kageyama also likes just being around you, listening to your stories from the day as you scoop pumpkin guts out of a giant pumpkin
he likes this activity more than others because he just likes to watch you and your concentrated face as you carefully carve your design into your chosen pumpkin
he thinks you're cutest when you're concentrated on something
besides, he also likes to put your pumpkins outside next to each other where they stay for the entirety of their lives, imagining that it's you and him together
you slammed your too-large pumpkin onto the table, preparing your tools as kageyama already began on his own. he watched as you carefully traced your design onto your pumpkin, admiring the way your face scrunched up as you scratched out a mistake you had made.
"ew, i hate this part." you scooped the pumpkin guts out of the top of your pumpkin, cringing from the texture coating your hands.
kageyama watched you intently as you carefully carved around your stencil, careful to avoid accidentally cutting your own hands. he was barely even focusing on his pumpkin, to caught up in watching you perform what you would call a mundane task. but he didn't care, he liked watching you.
"what are you thinking of carving?" he asked, scooping out the insides of his own pumpkin.
you looked up and winked at him, causing a flutter he felt in his chest and stomach. "it's a surprise."
he smiled to himself as you got back to work, humming your favorite song. the silence was comforting, and kageyama felt content watching you work.
when you slammed your tools down he looked up, almost done with his own. "what do you think of this?" you asked excitedly, spinning your pumpkin around with a flourish.
kageyama stared at the loopy grin and mismatched eyes of your pumpkin, a smile growing on his face. it suited you perfectly. "i love it, y/n."
"eeee!! look, it's winking at you, tobio!"
𝜗𝜚 OIKAWA TOORU
loves to take you to the local fall festival whenever it opens each season
his favorite part of the festivals are the games - he likes to win as many prizes as possible and give them all to you
even when you say you've had enough prizes, he'll want to keep going because he thinks the games are fun and he likes to shower you in gifts
it gets to the point where a few parents give him dirty looks because not only is he hogging the games, he's winning all the prizes
but he also enjoys the atmosphere of being at the festival with you
the smell of food is in the air and there are so many opportunities for things he can get you, whether it be in food or physical gifts
he also enjoys going on the hayride with you at sunset, turning it into a too-romantic event between the two of you despite the kids sitting across from you on the ride
"and that's another win for me!" oikawa gloated, claiming his small teddy bear prize and a free voucher for one caramel apple.
"you're stealing these from the kids, you know," you said, grabbing the teddy bear from him and putting it into your bag where three others already sat.
he shrugged. "i'm just too good at the games. let's go to the pumpkin toss next."
you sidled next to him, grasping his hand in yours. "what about we go into the corn maze instead?"
"uhm, that's how we go missing, y/n."
you laughed. "ok then, tooru, what do you suggest we do?"
he pretended to think for a moment, adopting a thoughtful expression. he grinned down at you. "let's go on the hayride."
"that's perfect!" you looked up at the sky, watching as the sun began to recede behind the curvature of the earth. "it'll be perfect to watch the sunset on!"
when the two of you boarded the ride, you sat close to oikawa and he held your hand tightly in yours. as the cart jumbled along uneven roads, you admired the landscape of the area. nature was always prettiest in the fall. you felt oikawa staring down at you and you looked up at him.
he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to your lips. "you are so beautiful, y/n."
"ewwwww!" the kids across from you exclaimed, faces morphed in disgust.
oikawa grumbled, "beat it, kids!"
𝜗𝜚 AKAASHI KEIJI
can't get enough of bingeing horror movies with you
loves the way you cuddle into him when you're frightened, and how cute your face is when you try to act brave
uses it as an excuse to be close to you
he also likes to talk about the movie contents with you
he likes to hear you gush about what you liked and didn't like, and your theories for the plot and which characters were your favorite
he always admires the way your face lights up when talking about something you enjoyed
he also just likes having nights in with you - ordering food and cuddling under blankets and pillows together
half of the time he spends watching you and your reactions instead of the movie
"i don't like this, keiji," you murmured from behind a pillow. akaashi glanced at you as you held the pillow tighter, attempting to use it as a shield between you and the screen.
he moved closer to you, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. "it's just a movie, y/n."
"yeah, but it looks so real." you cuddled into his flank, peeking above the pillow as the characters on screen discussed what to do about the mysterious figure chasing them in the dark.
akaashi smiled slightly at the look on your face. sure, you were terrified but you just looked too cute to him. your eyes were wide and watching, and your lips were parted in an "o" shape, ready to let out a squeal of surprise when something would inevitably jump out at the scream. he honestly rarely actually watched the movie playing, much preferring to watch it through your reactions.
you laid your head into the crook of his neck, taking a deep breath of his scent - it calmed you. you felt his hands rub your arms, a silent notion that he was there and protecting you. something jumped out of the screen suddenly, causing you to screech and hide your face in akaashi's shirt.
you felt his low chuckle stemming from his chest. "i've got you, y/n," he said, his breath blowing over the top of your head. "nothing is going to get you."
you nodded into his shirt, not yet daring to look away. he was like your knight in shining armor, you're very own protector. "can we change the movie to something less scary?"
"of course, baby."
𝜗𝜚 MIYA ATSUMU
will always be up for baking fall-themed desserts with you during the season
isn't that into baking himself, but likes to do things that you like to do, so he cooperates with excitement
plus, he enjoys eating what you make
also finds it fun when you experiment with new flavors and different sweet treats so he often sends you recipes he finds on the internet that you guys can try together
doesn't do that much baking himself, but is basically there just to be your assistant
he gives you ingredients, tools, reads the recipes, and taste tests everything you make (also everything at each step - raw batter fears him)
and more often than not, something tends to go wrong
"i'm thinking we make pumpkin spice cookies," you said, pulling out a large mixing bowl.
atsumu nodded, watching you grab all the ingredients you needed from the cabinets. "can we shape them into little pumpkins?"
you whirled around, an excited look on your face. "tsumu! that's an amazing idea, it'll be so cute!"
atsumu flushed at the tone of your voice, watching as you pulled out the recipe. he leaned over your shoulder, pressing his chin into the crook of your neck, leaving a light kiss on your skin. you giggled and pushed him back. "ok, so first, we need to get the flour and sugar."
"on it!" he said, saluting. you laughed at his antics as he went to grab the flour. however, his enthusiasm might've been a little too much because as he moved, flour poured over it's container and splattered all over the front of his clothes.
you stared at your boyfriend covered in flour, trying your hardest to hold back a giggle.
"are you laughing at me?" you shook your head, covering your mouth. "because if you are . . ."
atsumu reached into the container, grabbed a handful of flour and flung it at you. you screeched and covered your face. "atsumu!"
"take this!" he flung a little bit more at you, making sure you were covered in the substance from head-to-toe. "can't laugh at me if we look the same."
"stop it! you are ridiculous!" you exclaimed, trying to sound annoyed but it didn't work so well when you had a giant smile on your face.
atsumu grinned and pulled you into a hug, rubbing even more flour onto you. you squealed and punched his shoulder. "tsumu! stop messing around, we need to make our cookies."
"we have enough flour on ourselves to be the cookies," he piped.
you rolled your eyes and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "whatever, now get me the sugar."
“Ijo, ikaw ba’y may dinadamdam?”
“Ugali kon ikaw hidlawon.
DANDANSOY (the one Y/N sang) is a Bisayan folk song. It narrates how Dandansoy's special someone is telling him they are leaving to Payaw. They left him various steps to prove his love to them one last time.
is so unbelievably happy and he just falls for you all over again
would totally try to keep the flowers alive for as long as possible
probably takes a picture and prints it out so that he can frame it and keep it for forever
and most of all,
he tells everyone
the volleyball club, his opponents, absolutely EVERYONE
nobody is safe from him going on and on about how his s/o was so cute and bought him flowers
even shows it off to his grandpa—
will always bring it up and how much he loves you for it
is honestly so cute about it that you just end up buying him flowers more often because you can
“yuu~” you sung, as you hid the bouquet of flowers behind your back.
nishinoya turned around, and immediately a smile formed on his face “Y/N!”
“i have something for you,” you said
nishinoyas smile grew even wider as he did that cute little pose he always does—eyes sparkling and hands formed in fists. “what is it?!”
“here!” you would thrust the flowers out from behind your back and nishinoya would go silent for a second, registering what was happening
once it finally clicked the tears would start streaming down his face as he went on and on about how he had the best significant other ever and how he loved you so much
would take the flowers and your hand and run home, literally dragging you along. hed arrive home and would place them in the prettiest vase he owned and then snap a few photos for memories
a photo of just the flowers, a photo of just you, a photo of you and the flowers, and a photo of the both of you with the flowers
promises himself and makes a mental reminder to get the photos printed soon so he can hang them up
the next day hed be at practice and suga would probably notice how happy and giddy nishinoya is
“noya, youre even more energetic and happy than usual, whats up?”
“well, y/n got me flowers yesterday! and theyre beautiful—y/n and the flowers—and i love the both of them.”
suga would nod and smile “thats nice—“
“and i took these pictures, come look! im gonna print them after school” and he goes on and on and on and on, talking off the ears of the whole karasuno boys team
and once they step on the court? well, hed start telling the opponents the same thing—showing them the photos and everything
ও AKAASHI KEIJI
at first is confused as to why you have flowers
insecurity would slowly grow in his stomach at the thought that maybe some other person gave you the flowers
but when you nervously stand in front of him and hold the flowers out, avoiding eye contact,
he almost loses it right then and there
literally his face would flush and his heart would hammer in his chest that hed swear you could hear it
would take the flowers and be so adorable with them
would also say something really cute and sentimental and youd start crying
because WHO ALLOWED HIM TO BE LIKE THAT? SUCH A HEART WRENCHER?
hed keep them alive for longer than you wouldve ever thought possible
and would always just remember the memory of you giving him the flowers when he feels down
definitely also gets you flowers in return and its honestly just a really cute exchange
akaashi watched as you walked towards him, a flower bouquet in hand
he didnt know where you couldve possibly gotten the flowers, but he didnt like to admit that he was a little bit nervous. what if youd gotten them from another person? should he get you flowers as well?
and when you stopped in front of him his heart would be racing because youre beautiful holding flowers and because hes nervous as to why exactly youre holding flowers
but once you extend your arms, smile at him and say, “keiji, i bought you flowers because i love you”
well, akaashi would simply die right then and there
rip akaashi keiji </3
hed literally be blushing so hard as hed take the flowers from you and would have the tiniest most adorable smile on his face that the both of you are just melting
youre melting because hes so cute
and hes melting because you just gave him a bouquet of flowers and he loves it
“y/n, i absolutely love these, thank you”
“really?”
“of course! ive never been given a bouquet of flowers before . . . and getting flowers from the person i love is even better. i love you, y/n”
and then here come your tears and youre crying and akaashi is just like “IM SO SORRY”
but youre reassuring him its fine because why wouldnt it be
and in return, the next day he gets you flowers and then you also die
rip y/n </3
ও OIKAWA TOORU
honestly, he probably stalks you on a daily
so if you bought the flowers and wait to give it to him till he like comes over to your house later
then hed see you walking with them
okay to clarify he saw you by complete chance okay—was going to buy you flowers too
and he at first thinks that theyre from another person and smirks to himself
because he knows that if theyre from another person youd head straight for the trash
but when you dont go straight for the trash he gets confused and is like ???
so now is when he actually follows you around
trying to avoid his fangirls in case they give him away
would see you go home and would follow you up as you take the flowers into your apartment and by then oikawas just . . .
extremely confused
as to why you hadnt thrown the flowers away yet
of course, he wouldnt think youd actually cheat on him or anything because who could on oikawa
but he is having conflicting thoughts
so like ten minutes after you went into your apartment he knocks and you answer
and he like gives very quick kisses and hi’s and enters your apartment only to find that he cant find the flowers
and youre both confused at this point
till you tell him to hold on and that you have something for him
and you go into your room and hand him the flowers
and suddenly everything makes sense probably also sheds a single tear
oikawa crossed the street, trying to looks as inconspicuous as possible
he followed you as you walked towards your house, holding the bouqet of flowers close to your heart
he wondered where you coulve possibly gotten them from. it wasnt from him, and you werent the type of person to buy flowers for yourself just to keep (it was too much of a hassle). so his thoughts drifted to the possibility of a third party. but with that thought, he becomes confused. youd been given flowers by others before and had always just thrown them away the second you had the chance. this was an unusual occurrence
once you reached your apartment, oikawa stopped. maybe youd thrown the flowers away inside?
he wasnt supposed to meet you until later that night, but he could surprise you and investigate. he wasnt really worried about the idea of an affair or anything, but he was confused and wanted answers
he knocked and you answered, your face rising in surprise. “hey, tooru, whatre you doing here?”
“came early.” oikawa chirped, “just couldnt wait to see you!”
you frowned slightly and opened your door wide for him. “uhm, okay. come on in, then.” it was weird seeing oikawa act the way he was
as soon as he was let in, oikawa glanced around for the flowers but found nothing. he was feeling reassured, thinking youd finally thrown them away
“oh, i have something for you” you would head to your bedroom and quickly grab the flowers, hiding them behind your back
oikawa watched as you smiled and held the flowers out. “these are for you, tooru”
I Will Make You Stay (BokuAka multi-chaptered fic)

Chapter 1: The Encounter
“Be careful, sweetie, okay?” Akaashi felt the tender skin of his mother on his skin. Despite her tight corporate attire, she managed to crouch just to plant a kiss on his forehead, “Do great at school and make some friends for Mommy.”
Little Akaashi nodded, his mother's words passing through his ears like a plane. Akaashi watched his mother turn her back on him as she walked towards the exit of the elementary school he attended to. And before he knew it, his mother is gone, off for work. Something Akaashi loathed.
With head low, Akaashi went on his way towards his room. Teachers used to call him ‘the odd one’. He was not like the rest of the children they handled. If kids loved to boast about the beetles they have collected during break time, Akaashi preferred to sit at his assigned chair, pulling a storybook from his bag as he munched on his home-baked cookies.
Teachers were growing concerned with his weird behavior and his isolation towards his classmates. To the point that they have started reaching out to him.
They approached him gently, with their palms reaching for his little arms as they try to mask the concerned look on their faces with a smile, “Akaashi? Why don’t you go play with your friends instead of reading your book?”
And each time they asked him these, he would only shake his head slightly, an uncomfortable look written on his face. A sign Akaashi wishes they have picked up on.
That they did not, unfortunately, “You should try talking to your classmates. Like Koutaro.”
Like Koutaro.
Akaashi stopped on his tracks as he glance at the playground where his classmates are loitering. Though many of them are playing at the see-saw and the slide, only one of them stood out.
“I will save the day!”
With that, the white-haired child jumped from the top of the monkey bars towards the ground. Landing in a stance that superheroes in movies do. The children around him screamed as they circulated around him, showering him praises that made his smile grow wider.
Akaashi blinked before looking away.

“I found a leaf!”
“Hey, not fair! I found the leaf first!”
Amidst the excited giggles of the children, Akaashi remained unfazed as he sat under the shade of an old tree, watching his classmates from afar. His chin resting on his folded knees as the warm breeze blew on his skin.
Then Akaashi hears a thud.
He looks to his righ. He sees a lying Koutaro, groaning as the ray of noon light hit his eyes. He rubbed them as he opened them slowly. A grin flashing on his lips when he saw Akaashi.
“I thought I was gone!” Koutaro exclaimed before shifting into a more comfortable position. He sat. His hands supporting his weight as his legs are widely stretched, "I was scared because I was feeling sleepy."
Akaashi only stared at Koutaro, bewildered with the fact that someone as outgoing as the famous child in his class is hanging out with him.
"Then you should sleep," Akaashi suggested.
Koutaro whined, his fingers now pulling the strands of grass, "That would mean I would have to go."
This caught Akaashi's attention. If he had cat ears, they would have long been perked up already.
"I don't understand," Akaashi furrowed his brows, "You're not Bokuto Koutaro?"
Koutaro gave a hearty laugh, "I am Bokuto, silly!"
"But you said you are not..." Akaashi's words slowly disappeared as he tries to decipher Koutaro's words.
"I am Bo!" Koutaro exclaimed before sitting straight, his upper body leaning to Akaashi. The distance between the two getting smaller with this sudden move, "Well, at least my friends and Mommy and Daddy call me that."
Earlier, when Akaashi was looking for a comfortable spot to settle on, he stumbled upon Bokuto Koutaro. His round golden eyes clearly confused as he looked around the huge garden of their school.
And when Akaashi decided to aid his confused-looking classmate, no words can express the sight of relief washing on Koutaro's face.
"Thank God I am not alone!" he cried before running towards Akaashi to tackle him with a tight hug. Something Akaashi never expected Koutaro to do. Well, at least to him.
"Well...Koutaro-Bo," Akaashi muttered, his eyes drifting away from Koutaro. Too close, "So you are saying that you are Koutaro?"
"Yup!" Koutaro chirped as he nodded.
"But you're not Koutaro?"
"Yup-yup!"
"That doesn't make sense," Akaashi complained.
"It doesn't!" Koutaro cannot agree more. But oddly, he found this fascinating. He laid laid on the ground, laughing so loud he had to cup his mouth while slapping the soil. This made Akaashi scratch his head.
Weird. The back of Akaashi's mind spoke. The person speaking is Koutaro, Akaashi can confirm. But there is something about 'Bo' that makes him so different from the Bokuto Koutaro Akaashi knew. And whether if he liked this version of Koutaro or not, he cannot answer. Both of them were...too overwhelming for him.
"All I know is..." Koutaro inhaled as he has recovered from his amusement, "Whenever I slept, I always wake up in a different body."
Akaashi wobbled his head to the side, "Another body?"
"Hmmm," Koutaro mused, "It's still me, though. Same Mommy. Same Daddy. But things are different when I wake up. Like, like, how I have Garfield yesterday, and today I have Scooby."
"Who is Garfield?"
"Oh, my dog."
"And Scooby?"
"My cat."
"So yesterday, you woke up with a Koutaro who owns a dog, and today, you woke up with a Koutaro who owns a cat?"
"Yup!" Koutaro nodded enthusiastically, his wild streaks of hair dancing along with every nod.
"Then does that mean..." Akaashi ran his fingers on the ground, finding comfort with the trimmed carabao grass, "You're always on a different body?"
"Whenever I fall asleep, yes," Koutaro said, his eyes now looking at the group of children gathering around the playground.
"So..." Akaashi glanced at Bo, "Where's your home?"
Koutaro sighed, pouting as he scratched his white hair, "I don't know."

"Bokuto? Why don't you invite Akaashi?"
"Akaashi?"
This made Akaashi lift his eyes from his book. The eyes of his teachers, his classmates, and Koutaro glued on him. Akaashi squinted as he felt his cheeks flushed with all the stare.
"Yeah! You were with him yesterday! You didn't tell us you were friends!" a classmate exclaimed.
Koutaro looked around him. His eyes are so confused. The same eyes Bo had when he was all alone before Akaashi has found him.
"We did?"
Akaashi looked down as Koutaro's friends started to tell him that they did see him hanging out with him yesterday. His tiny fingers smoothening the creases of his favorite storybook.
"W-Well...then I guess Akaashi and I are friends!" Koutaro, despite his confusion, concluded.
"Akaashi, would you like to come to play tag with us?"
Akaashi was forced to look up once again, Koutaro is a couple of steps away from him. His hand opens as if he is willing to lend him his hand.
Akaashi scanned Koutaro's face. His round eyes are wide along with his toothy grin. His spikey hair disheveled given that he loves to move around whether he is in or out of class.
In the end, Akaashi shook his head before averting his gaze from Koutaro, "No thanks," he replied softly.
