“This is a page from National Lampoon Presents The Very Large Book of Comical Funnies, a trade PB that was basically a faux history of comics.
One of the parodies inside was a takeoff on EC Comics. Several artists drew a couple of panels, purportedly the last two panels of various stories left unpublished after the collapse of EC. The artists included among others, Chaykin, Kaluta, Heath, Wrightston, and me. I got the Jack Davis parody material. That included a faux cover related to the political attacks on EC. I drew it in my best Jack Davis style and I think I did the lettering as well.
This is Al Feldstein, being dealt with by the anti-free speech crowd, the guardians of American morals.”
