It makes me SO happy that you're into johnny weir and johnny weir/evan lysacek. That ship was everything to me during the last winter Olympics. It's always the strangest things ahahaha.

nooo, sorry, I DO NOT SHIP JOHNNY WEIR/EVAN LYSACEK. i love johnny weir but there’s no way i ever could ship them because lysacek always seemed so unpleasant and subtly homophobic towards johnny weir during their rivalry. (their rivalry was an incredibly compelling media narrative though.)

P.S. to anyone who is feeling vaguely confused by the growing quantity of figure skating content on my tumblr, i’ll be posting a “guide to figure skating fandom” article sometime this week, so you can easily learn about it before the Winter Olympics start! :)
