Mechanic Eliot and Attorney Hardison
The last thing Hardison needed was for his car to break down a week before his career making case is scheduled to go to trial.
He especially didn't expect the mechanic working on his car to look as good as he did with grease smeared on his hands and an equally stained bandana holding his hair back. And the southern drawl was something else entirely.
The last thing Eliot needed at eight in the morning was for some loud mouthed city kid to appear in his garage babbling about fuel injectors and his car coming apart at the seams.
One begrudging introduction and an offhanded comment about Hardison knowing nothing about car repair, Eliot tales on the job of fixing Hardison's car before he has another "moment"
All in all it takes a couple hours to fill the coolant and check the oil. Eliot even topped off the windshield wiper fluid.
But by now (despite his mind's weak protests) Hardison and his very bi heart gas developed a small crush on Eliot and his entire snarky attitude.
So of course the only way to proceed is to keep showing up at Eliot's garage with various complaints about his car, just to spend a little time loitering around to watch Eliot work.
Eliot just wants to know how someone can continue to have problems with their vehicle after numerous tuneups and checks.
It didn't help that Hardison has no concept of personal space and keeps crowding Eliot, making it all too easy to get flustered.
