Nature Boy - written by Eden Ahbez was published in 1947. It is by far one of my favorite jazz songs, made famous by the great Nat King Cole. Frank Sinatra also released the song in 1948 and the version I have done resembles Celine Dion's version recorded in 2002.
Perhaps it is the song's harmonic structure and D minor ii-V-i chord progression, or maybe it is the mysterious lyrics that will speak to the depths of your heart, telling the story of a strange boy who knew one truth: "the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love.. and be loved in return".
