Elias and friends thought it was just a storm, everyone at Avonside University did, but when the clouds cleared and the sky was revealed again, they were met with a strange sky. Gone were the city lights and everything beyond the limits of their campus, replaced by a mountain wilderness....
Another post on something I recommend reading, this time its an isekai by QuietValerie. A university campus gets taken from Earth and left on another world. Once the story gets going, one of the students who acts as the primary viewpoint character for the series is whisked off into circumstances that show there's far more going on just a college town being trapped on another world. While the story starts out a bit slow it does become great when it gets going and provides an interesting people of people trying to adapt to harsh circumstances. Being a college campus rather then just a single person taken leads to interesting dynamic compared to some other isekai stuff I've read as different groups within it try to work out how to actually work together or work against each other. If you're looking for a queer romance there's some of that in it too among multiple couples in the story. The story has trans and gay representation in its main cast if that appeals. The story also makes use of a what was to me a pretty unique and interesting magic system that it explores and it has me looking forward to hopefully learning more about the history of the world they're on.
