I made these this morning, and I'm actually pretty proud of them :)
I might put them on my Etsy if I have the beads to make more!
idk if anyone else really enjoys the alien franchise, but i’ve been particularly obsessed with the latest installment and andy gives me such cas vibes it’s crazy. within seconds of him crossing my screen, i mentally adopted the slightly broken android as one of my many little pookie bears.
the androids in aliens are one of the coolest parts of the franchise. i love bishop in aliens, samuels in alien: isolation, and walter in alien: covenant. the likable androids give such detroit: become human vibes and i love it.
fuck i love that as i’ve grown up, the media i enjoy consuming has grown and changed with me, but at its core, most of it still has key facets of other movies, shows, and video games that i love. media is so fucking cool
Here's the finished drawing of Scream.
Scream's pronouns are it/its.
It's an alien androgynoid. Because why would humans be the only ones who build robots that look like themselves? It's a free baby.
[ID: A digital drawing of an alien robot against a blank white background. It has four legs, an upright torso, and a long tail that is segmented like bone. It is leaning on a thin grey railing, its claws wrapped around it as it looks at something slightly to the left and forward off screen.
The torso is sat in the center and above the four legs, with are sharp and pointed and descend out of sight below the camera. The robot's body is covered in a complicated, random pattern of interlocking plates of various sizes and shapes, in shades of mostly grey, light grey, dark grey, and a few places are yellow.
The neck and tail are both made of segmented peices of metal that look like a spine. It has a short rounded muzzle, two rectangular yellow eyes, and two points on a large yellow crest behind its head. Two plates on its face and in the center of its chest are orange. Its tail ends in a shape like an arrowhead.
End ID.]
"Man will always win, it's a question of will."
Oh, but what if the Synth got a human they care about more than anything else? What if this care borders on obsession because that's their human? What if that human is in danger? What if Kirsh loves you so much that protecting you is the strongest directive that formed in his systems, and it can't be broken or overridden? What if his love is so strong that it wins above everything else? What if-
Once again thinking about how many humans in the Alien Universe treat Synths like trash and lesser beings. And then there is my mom who sees her car as a family member and is so distraught over her damaged "sweet little red" that she decided not to get a new car, but to repair this one, even if it costs more.
Hii, how are you? I have two questions for you:
Would David be a jealous partner? If so, what sort of things would make him jealous?
And what sort of things would the synths do in general that would be weird to us? Do you think they ever reset themselves and out of nowhere you just hear the windows starting sound?
Hello! Could be better ngl I'm very drained and low on energy :') I hope you're well! David? Jealous? pfffft- YES. If someone's jealous, it's him. Things that would make him jealous: Someone who doesn't have a clear platonic relationship with his s/o touching them would be something he'd stop immediately. I think he's okay with it if he knows that it's harmless, like how I wrote my Reader's relationship with Janek and Elizabeth - but as soon as someone flirts with her, the alarm bells will ring. Maybe that has to do with his being seen as something lesser trauma.
You fight with the Synths or they say something embarrassing, so you clap your hand over their mouth. Well, too bad they don't need their mouth to speak, and continue over their Vocoder. And they might have the body of a normal human, but their skeleton isn't as limited. Be prepared for them to stretch and move in ways you don't expect - maybe they turn their head way too far around? @nshtn told me that robots will ALWAYS try to do a crab walk, so... Crab walking Synths my beloved
