I just want to say that the way you do colors is really, really nice and one of these days I'll sit down and analyze it until I get to the bottom of it. It's really bright and high contrast, but doesn't feel too bright and too contrasted and I really adore how you're able to do so much with relatively limited color pallette (Also, I don't know how you do this texture thing, but I adore it too, it makes it look a bit like it was drawn traditionally on the paper, with markers or stuff like that. If you want, please share your secrets, tho it's absolutely okay if you don't)
Aww~ thankss ♡(ӦvӦ。)
But as much as Im happy to hear people enjoy my way of rendering, it's kinda a bit funny to me, personally, cus the reason I use these pallet in the first place was because I was a bit color blind at the start of trying digital drawing.
and I dont mean I can't see certain colors - color blind, but more so that the color balance was just confusing to me, I usually end with pieces that were too dull and murky (low contrast) <- another reason why my works are a bit more saturated than compared to others. Its legit cause the way my eyes register color and my brain goes 'what are you looking at?'
So to make things easier, I made a few notes to usually keep my pallet limited to;
Main color/vibe, usually the background or 60% of the overall color
Secondary color, this is the supporting color that contrasted the main color
Then black/white variant <- by variant I meant that I dont use full black or white, They are usually a bit off colored. So the black I use actually has a bit of a reddish brown undertone, while my white is usually a bit more cream-colored white.
The reason why I use off color is that to make sure the main color pops more.
Now for the texture thing a lot of people seemed to also noticed and ask, is thatttt
uhh,
It wasn't intentional at first. Like, the placement was intentional, but the affect it created was not the one I was initially aiming for.
... The texture is nightshade,
The thing that, you know, used to poison AI if it get fed into it.
Yea, that one (;;;・_・)
No crazy secrets here;
Oh, but if you don want to try something similar, just add noise. Usually drawing apps have filters/adjustment options. There should be one called "noise" it should also give a more less similar affect, but more controlled.
Hope this helps?
