How do you know if you are asexual?
Personally, I figured it out after I realized that I don’t understand a lot of ““relatable”“ things in society. The interest in sex was so foreign to me, especially when I realized that I’m semi-sex-repulsed. I get squeamish at the thought of it, and when I found the label here on tumblr I was like “oh! that’s… exactly how I feel, wow.” -Faith
If you’re asexual it means you lack sexual attraction, but I would recommend researching on websites like AVEN and here on Tumblr if you think this resonates with you! (edit -->) Personally, the first thing I noticed was that I had never had a celebrity crush and was really confused about why people would have them. Asexuality made sense to me on a more personal level, but squishes and other stuff confused me until I found out what compulsive heteronormativity was and then I kinda connected the dots from there!--Christy
For me it’s not having desire for sex with anyone in particular (I know aswxuality is a spectrum and you can be sex positive) like when my friends are talking about how hot/sexy someone is and you don’t understand what they mean. Like I skip the sex scenes even if my parents aren’t there and stuff ~Alexy
For me personally, I eventually realized I was ace after never understanding when my friends would talk about being attracted to someone and wanting to have sex with them. I’m a sex-repulsed ace, so the idea of having sex has always made me feel uncomfortable. I’ve been in a few relationships and whenever things started to progress physically, I was always really uncomfortable and more interested in things like cuddling. But there’s also people who aren’t sex repulsed and are still ace, so not everyone has experiences similar to mine. But if you’re ace, you’re not going to experience sexual attraction, so I guess that’s how you would know. Sometimes it takes time to realize it though. I think it took me about a year before I would even admit to myself I was ace. -Charlotte

So, we barely survived eternal damnation by stupidity.
Welcome back to the disaster that was, is and always will be wolveswithblackpearls.
We are having a little crisis right now as our blog was deleted accidentally - with it all moodboards, followers, inbox messages - you name it. Sadly our attempt to get everything back failed.
We are currently browsing every crack and corner of the internet to somehow get all moodboards back, cursing ourselves in the process that we haven’t updated our backup folder in a very long time. At this point, we really want to thank everyone who reblogged one of our posts at some point - you are the ones who kept us sane the last weeks on our “hunting our own moodboards”-mission.
But we’ll figure it out - just be prepared for a little nostalgia trip when we repost all of our stuff in the coming months. New Moodboards will probably come your way when we’re done scheduling all of that, because it is a lot of work. We can’t recommend it.
As we lost all our followers we kindly ask everybody who might read this to reblog this post so everyone knows about what happened, can follow us again if they still want to. Also to make it clear once more when content is appearing again - it’s the original content creators and nobody else. (As long as it’s on our blog of course otherwise please tell us.)
It’s still us, Admin G (formally A), Admin J (formally C) and Admin S - we are just fixing things and rebuilding our blog.
We hope this post reaches everyone who was/is interested in our posts. We are very sorry for what happened, especially because we wanted to bring mostly new content this year, but it is what it is and so we’ll be back on track with new and old stuff soon.
