I am not immune to the main Jurassic Park Theme to begin playing for the first time in the film as Allen and Ellie finally meet up again....
I noticed that Jurassic park is tending currently I don't know why, and the only reason I have seen every movie is because my mom really loves the movies but.....SOMEONE STOP ME FROM REBLOGING/LIKING EVERY DINOSAUR POST!!!
Jurassic Park Book Things Prt 1
I read the Jurassic Park book fr class and it’s so good! Michael Crichton is an amazing writer. Jurassic Park has the most difference between a book and a movie I've seen in a while, and just for fun here are some things that were in the book that they skipped out on in the movie that I particularly liked! (Spoilers for the book, obviously)
During the tour, there is a playroom with a baby velociraptor, she’s really sweet, like a cat, she jumps up in Tim’s arms and rubs on him and I love her
It’s not a triceratops that they find sick, It’s a stegosaurus! They got sick not from eating the west Indian lilac bush its self but from accidentally ingesting the lilac berries while eating gizzard stones (if you don’t know what those are, look them up, it’s interesting to think of dinosaurs using them)
Lex (who’s actually younger than Tim in the book, her being 7 or 8 and him being 11) sees a young velociraptor on the supply boat as it’s leaving, the first thought that the raptors are out
There are two t. rexes, not one, there is the adult who crashes through the fence but there is also an adolescent, they avoid each other
Also, the goat bait gets killed in the beginning
The dilophosaurus is not small, at all. He’s about 8-10 feet tall and him killing Nedry is graphic af. First, he blinds him, then slashes open his belly spilling his guts, and then he grabs him by the head. It’s gross, also the spit isn’t black and gooey, it’s like regular lizard spit, foamy
That’s all I have time for right now, but there is a lot more, I’ll post prt 2 later
