Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them!
In no particular order yo.
The Hitchhiker's Ultimate Guide To the Galaxy. Just when I feel safe in my science and logic, Douglas Adams throws me for a loop. Perfect marriage of philosophy, science, and nonsense (yes I cheated because this is technically 5 novels. sue me. ((no don't I have no monies.)))
Miss Marple: The complete short stories by Agatha Christie. Lets talk about a bad ass crime solving g-ma.
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Basically all of Christie is gold. Always loved a good mystery.
Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut. Anything by Vonnegut is thought provoking and twisted and I am 100% convinced that he would be a serial killer if writing wasn't his outlet, but I love every second of it.
The Surprising Adventures of Baron Munchausen by Rudolf Erich Raspe. Troll logic at it's finest, I read it in German but p sure you can read it in english. I can guarantee that all the stories are 100% true. Even the bouncing cucumber trees.
The Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe. This is the story that we had to read in English that got me into Poe.
O. Henry: The Complete Short Stories by O. Henry. That was kinda redundant I know. Short stories that you can finish without a lot of commitment that are perfectly written.
Harry Potter (YES ALL OF THEM) by J.K. Rowling. (yes I cheated again) I will always be reading harry potter. Always.
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. Riddles in the dark is my favorite. My grandpa gave this to me when I was getting my tonsils out.
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Love the riddles and codes he used in this books. One of my more worn out books on my shelf because I bought a paperback for 50 cents at my local library and have dogeared the crap out of it.

Maddie’s questions: 1: What do you like to do on rainy days? My friend Elizabeth and I like to watch paranormal investigator-type shows on rainy days at school. At home I just stay inside and tumblr with my dog on my lap like most days. 2: Your favorite toy as a kid? I had 2 stuffed dogs. One named "Bow Puppy" and the other named "Bartholomew" They were mortal enemies. Bow Puppy was always the hero, thwarting Bartholomew at every turn. I still have both of them. 3: What would you do with a million dollars? Pay off my college debt, buy anew laptop and save the rest. Boring but I plan to move to Chicago and take improv classes after college and if I could do that without having another job that'd be swell. 4: What’s your favorite movie? American Psycho, Star Wars V, Date Night, Tootsie depending on how I feel. 5: How was your weekend? Well mostly it was full of anxiety because I was waiting for it'sGrace. Other than that I accomplished a lot so pretty great! 6: Have you ever been to a concert? Which one was your favorite? I've been to a few and my favorite was a Kimbra concert I went to in Chicago last year with some friends. The people were amazing, the music was fantastic and it was SO MUCH FUN. That was when i met someone who is one of my favorite people now (Lydia, YOU BEEN CALLED OUT)! 7: Shuffle your music. What was the first song that played? Born this way- Lady Gaga, idk 8: If you could be any animal, which one would you be? I would be probably a Direwolf, like in GoT. Or maybe a Hippogriff from Harry Potter. I only want to be fictional things. 9: What are you most afraid of? Spiders, not living my dreams and failure- just like everyone else. 10: Do you have any siblings? Well this is kind of complicated. I am the only child my mom and dad ever had. But when they got divorced they both remarried. So I have 4 step sisters and my mom and stepdad had my little brother (technically half brother but w/e). So I have 1-5 siblings depending on the house I'm at or how inclusive i feel. 11: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? London, New York, Grand Canyon, or Alaska in no particular order.
