ooohhhhh!!! The other night when the temperature was REALLY bad out (y'know from that weird winter storm we had) Cupcake (our younger dog) actually crawled onto my lap of her own will and curled up to sleep and cuddle (she hates sitting on laps and being near people's feet so that was like MAJOR and soooo adorable).
2. Favorite childhood memory?
Okay, it's not just one, but whenever we'd go to my Grandma's house she'd always bake the best cookies (she used a waffle iron and they were always somehow shaped like snowflakes) and they'd have powdered sugar and everyone would sit around her small table and be happy! It's like, one of the few memories I even still have of her and the best!
3. Cute story of your childhood antics?
When i was around 5 years old I was such a little shit. My cousin (he's like 23 now but at the time he had to be like 9 or ten) had just gotten the Fire game from the Pokemon franchise, but I wanted it (I don't think I had a gameboy at the time either so I wanted that too) so I just went around following him for a solid week jut saying "gimme" whenever he pulled out the game until he almost lost it - so long story short I ended up with my own game boy and my first pokemon game and then made him pass it while I watched. :) It's a really funny story for us now, but he's the one who told me about it sicne I can't remember that far back haha
4. If you could choose to live in any fictional world, which would you choose? (No cheating with Inkheart)
Despite all the danger and stuff, i think I'd have to pick the world from the Percy Jack & the Olympians series. I just... feel like it would be so cool/interesting to live in a world where the Greek/Roman gods were physically real/interactive with humans and the world and where demigods existed (it'd be twice as cool if I were like the characters too and got to go on quests). I just love mythology and especially the Greek and Roman civilizations and having all of that integrated into my life (while also keeping my current life too) would be so cool to me.
5. A skill you wish you knew.
How to read people. That would be incredibly useful for me.
6. Who do you miss right now?
You and a lot of other friends I haven't seen since like summer. :( Especially 'cause i don't use my phone very often too so it's really been months since I've talked to most anyone.
7. What fictional character are you realistically most like? (Not who you wish you could be)
I'm not sure. Although I enjoy reading and fictional stories (book or not) and end up falling in love with most characters of series I like, I've found it really hard to find any who are really like me. I'm afraid I haven't read very many books where characters are from a nonwhite cultural background or bi or even somewhat resemble how I am or live. And those that do have usually disappointed or mocked those aspects. :( So I haven't quite yet found that one character that's quite like me in a way that I'm satisfied with. But I'll get back to you on that one.
8. Do you have any idea what you’re doing when you graduate?
(Hopfeully) I'll be applying to a program at my university that they offer to grad students who've graduated as undergrads with a BFA for arts education. After that I'd go on to become a High School Art teacher as well as hopefully save up enough for my own place and if I'm lucky make my art at least sorta famous (I want to display pieces in some of the New York galleries I love)!
9. Who is someone you’d love to meet?
Marvii. I know it's nothing big, and not like a typical famous person answer, but idk. We met on tumblr and really hit it off and I like to think we're friends. So yeah, eventually I'd love to meet ya in person!
10. Is there a historical event you wish you could have witnessed?
Probably the entire Amarna period (heh Art student geek out time) in Ancient Egypt because of how...weird it was. It was just this one blip where all the art changed and I kinda want to see how that went down and why it was only during that one pharaoh's rule. (I think my art history prof actually called it the "trippy blip" in ancient art of Egypt 'cause it was so...different, but incredibly cool what with all the fluidity and and change to the art style of the time.)
11. Name one thing you would change about your life.
Ohhhhhh man. I definitely would have tried harder. In everything. Tried to make time for more social stuff, done better in school, and not let other's opinions get to me so much. especially that last one. I'd be having a much better life right now if I'd just ignored the assholes in life.
