should there be exclusive words? kinda like how mspec people have monosexual and aspec people have allosexual and trans and nb people have cis–should gay and lesbian people have exclusive terms relating to their orientation?

There is no such thing as straight passing privilege
There is no such thing as monosexual privilege
There is no such thing as allosexual privilege
Stop discoursing about stuff that's already been done
Can someone explain to me why allosexual is a bad and homophobic word??? Like looking for genuine education here because I thought it just ment someone who wasn't ace?
got this on my main after replying to an ace discourse post. but i'm not responding there because that's not what my main is for and i don't want other people to have to deal with discourse if they don't want to.
it being a layer of heteronormativity means that it doesn't exist separate from it - you can't look at allonormativity without heternormativity. but it does shape the way we view all non-ace orientations. it's assumed that everyone experiences attractions and desires - whether or not those desires are socially acceptable or encouraged. gay folks are told their attraction is wrong, but they are still understood to have desires even while they're told not to act on them. the expectation to Be Straight is both an expectation to *act straight* (get married, have kids, etc) AND an expectation of straight attraction and desires. if you don't have attraction (AKA, if you're ace/aro) then you can't fully live up to the straight narrative and are face with medicalization of that lack of desire as well as social penalties. these are different from the social penalties faced by gay folks for experiencing "wrong" attraction, though there is a bit of overlap. regardless, they still exist and are harmful.
So for some reason I can't reply to replies rn but thank you to the people who gave input on the allosexual question I had earlier !
I rlly don't understand why cis or perisex is fine but allosexual is demonised as a word
