All the alcohol vocabulary
Okay well I speak Spanish not Mexican but I assume almost all of it is the same.
Vodka, tequila, and whiskey are pronounced the same as in English. (Although keep in mind the Spanish B and V are pronounced exactly the same. You'll be understood if you pronounce it the English way, though)
Rum, however, is pronounced "ron," make sure you roll the R or you'll sound extra extra foreign. Rum and coke is ordered by saying "ron con coca-cola," whiskey and coke would be "whiskey con coca-cola" etc.
All your favorites (margarita, mojito, tequila sunrise, etc) are the same. Add a little latin flair if ya want for kicks.
Wine is vino, pronounced like bean-o, kinda. Red wine is vino tinto, white wine is vino blanco. If you want a glass of wine, you ask for "una copa de vino."
Beer is cerveza, in Mexico it's pronounced sed-vez-a, but in Spain we talk with a lisp so it's "thed-beth-a." IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: Spanish R's, unless it's a double RR, sound a bit more like Ds than Rs. I recommend watching some telenovelas and listening for the sound.
Weed vocabulary: (because I know you.) Marijuana is pronounced how you would expect it to be. As in like the name Juan. Porro is a joint. Bong is just bong I think. This is probably different in Mexico.
If any Mexican Spanish speaking people see this post feel free to correct anything!
