This message may be helpful to you. Since I received it, my career choice has been on my mind more than usual. I am a bit embarrassed by the answer to your first question, but I have elected to respond regardless.

I think the loneliness that I mentioned in the last query about teaching was a large factor. Growing up, my family was… not ideal. I feel the need to say that they were not abusive. But I was often left feeling cold and alone, and I knew that being around others (even though I am often silent) made me feel warmer.

Hey!! Just poppin’ in to say that I LOVE this fic, I hadn’t read any fanfics in ages and I decided this’d be the one to get me back into it. I have zero regrets. English isn’t my first language and I’ve learned so many new words through reading this thing and it’s tight.
