So, um, if I don't manage to finish the Christmas Infection 'verse fic tonight, would people still be interested in it *after* the holidays? I was going to post it all in one go, but I can also break it into chapters and post the first few tonight? Anyway, I'm really sorry I didn't get it finished and also Merry Christmas!

Updates 8/3

My birthday (8/4) will be completely uneventful. Everyone decided to schedule something on my birthday, so no one is available to celebrate with me. The only thing I'll be doing (like I previously mentioned) is volunteering with children. This is the first weekend birthday I've had in a while, so I had hopes for it... but oh the well.

I finally have a new phone. I got it like two weeks ago but, I have been too lazy to post anything about it. I got the HTC One X. I chose the seafoam green case for my phone and it.is.absolutely.gorgeous and perfect for my white One X. I got the white one because my phones in the past have only been black. I liked having the option.

We FINALLY figured out the whole fiasco with my hearing aid. I will be receiving my hearing aid on Tuesday (8/7). Like the baby dipped in awesome sauce that I am, I'm getting the green one. The In-ear/Behind-the-ear hearing aid is a Phonak Naida S CRT III. It's water, sweat and dust resistant. The in-ear part is gonna make me look like a CIA agent. Awesome!!! I'm so excited for it and I will post pictures once I get it.

I have a read a total of three books this summer. It's not the 5 I initially had planned, but seeing as a year ago my retention capabilities and my attention span were close to zilch because of my disorder, I'd say three books is pretty damn good.

My job wants me back during "any free time I have and would like to work." This means summer break, winter break, if I'm home on a weekend, spring break. If I don't have a job lined up by the time I graduate, I can come work for them until I find other work.

I will be 8 months self harm free as of next week. I may just treat myself to something random.

I still have yet to see my Goddaughter. It's been two months now. Where do people get off at withholding children and shit. It's annoying and childish as fuck.

Speaking of childish, the Childish Gambino concert was abso-fucking-lutely amazing. It was better than I expected. I'll post pictures eventually. I know I'm shit at doing that.

I leave for Columbia/move into my house in Columbia next week (8/10). I'm excited but leery. I've never been partial to roommates and most of you all know about the sofa fiasco, so yeah.
