18, 20, 22, and 24 for an OC of your choosing? :)
18. What are your OC’s greatest fears? Weaknesses? Strengths?
For Rosala, his greatest fears are of finding himself alone, abandoned. While introverted, he doesn’t handle it well when he doesn’t have someone in shouting distance. Makes him anxious, agitated, prone to needling and violence when he does find someone.
Ros’s trust in people, and how quickly he is to bond with them, definitely counts as a great weakness. Sure, he’s wary enough of strangers–or well, tries to be–but all it takes is a conversation before he’s handing over his gold and taking out some dude they pointed out as the local capital-a Asshole. He just, bends pretty easily to the wills of whoever’s with him.
Empathy is Ros’s greatest strength, alongside his muscles. He would die for pretty much anyone.
20. If they came from their world to ours (if not already in our’s) how would they react? What would they do?
If Rosala came to Earth, he would probably be thrilled for his ears to be looked at as just part of some ‘super cool’ cosplay, but otherwise would find the new world hard to deal with. For one thing, murder is a big no. And so is barging into a random house and stealing everything not nailed down, unlocked door or not. He would be in jail on the first day.
22. What kind of student were they/would they be in high school?
Well, before the batarians attacked, Meredith was a straight-A student with only moderate assistance from his father who also played baseball. The ‘quiet kid’, he had two friends to his name and he hung out in one specific alcove whose window looked over a nearby park that he was pretty possessive of.
After the batarians, he did enough to pass, and went through everything in a sort of fog. People occasionally approached him, asking why he never talked and bugging about his scar, but he made his disinterest in them quite clear. Before school and during lunch, he’d just stand by the door of his next class and screw around online.
24. What is their outlook on life? What is their philosophy / what do they think in general about living?
Allyn is of the opinion that every person has a world inside them, that everyone is unique and important. She believes that there is an innate goodness in people, but what form it takes and whether or not it beats out the bad they’ve done is another matter entirely. An example she keeps in mind is Saren, who always believed, always tried, to do the right thing, but a ruthless mindset often led him astray, and it was his desperation that put him under Sovereign’s control.
So far as living goes, it’s great, and every moment should be treasured. Her one fear is death. There are few ugly alternatives she wouldn’t accept, and those are the ones that would actively cause the suffering of others.
