i LOVE this au tay!! (i will rb everything once i get the chance aaaa) But would/does Mikey have any yokai he's met in the mystic city that he's grown attached to/become acquaintances with over the years before meeting his brothers?

i don’t really have any thought out TT

Maybe a couple street vendors that caught him sneaking peeks at their cooking technique and would toss him “botched” meals and extra ingredients

But honestly the only person he had consistent interactions with was Draxum, and that’s just cause Mikey kept sneaking in to cause chaos and steal shit sahkhglksa

hueso and shredder crackship is honestly so amazing cause the way i see it, hueso doesn’t know who the hell shredder actually is and just thinks he’s a thematic dragon yokai who acts like a cat a little *too* often fgljdfld

"He's an eons old demon overlord! He is to lead the foot clan! Return him at once!"

Hueso has no idea how a seemingly human teenager got into his restaurant, or why she seemed so interested in the large yokai that liked to hang around him. It wasn't the weirdest thing that had happened in his restaurant, so he wasn't sure if he cared.

"Are you sure? Absolutely sure?" He asked, peering over to look over at said 'overlord.'

Shredder was occupied with carrying around Hueso Jr. by the scruff of his shirt, in the 'supposed' demon's mouth. The little skeleton couldn't be more delighted! 

He let out a chuff to acknowledge Hueso before walking over to a seat and plopping Jr. down. He always watched intently while the little yokai colored. Shredder tried a few times himself, but it looked more like some ancient language than a drawing. 

Hueso glanced back at the teenage girl, who looked like she would burst into flames if she couldn't complete her mission.

"I'm just not seeing it."
