Today marks a big step in my life. I say goodbye to the clinic that has been my life for almost a year. I treated my last patient today and will be moving on to my pco on Monday to finish out my hours, and I already have a job lined up for post graduation in August. Some of you know the struggles I have gone through in school and in time maybe I'll talk about it. But the clinicians and staff at this clinic have been so loving and compassionate towards me through my hard year and didn't judge anything from my past. They pushed me to learn how to be ergonomic as a small woman in chiropractic and have truly made me a great clinician. And while I still need to get through boards to get my license (thanks COVID) one of the clinicians, who I sadly didn't get a picture with, helped me come up with an email to send out to potential employers in this crazy scary time where everything is uncertain. I feel beyond blessed to have gone through this clinic and met these amazing people along the way. On to the next chapter. I am super anxious, but excited and hopeful! This lovely work is by @st.janie I found if a well meeded reminder as I push through the last half of my last semester in my BFA program, now is the time to make work, not the time to over think what I am making. Not to stop thinking entirely of course, but to just stop over thinking everything. Especially as a person who works in a highly detail orientated manner, as a maker who spends an exorbinate amount of time on each piece I make.
