New Alola Forms have been discovered!

Alolan Ledyba and Ledian

Bug-types with the Swarm and Stamina abilities! Starting at Level 22, Alolan Ledyba evolves into Alolan Ledian, a Bug/Fighting-type. If it evolves with swarm, it will get the Iron Fist ability.

Alolan Chinchou and Lanturn

Water-types with the abilities Water Absorb and Illuminate. When it is exposed to a Shiny Stone, Alolan Chinchou will evolve into Alolan Lanturn, a Water/Fairy-type!

Alola Politoed

Evolves from Poliwhirl that level up in the Ula'ula Meadow. It is a Water/Ground-type with the abilities Earth Eater and Damp.

seems to be meowth's gimic to have regional variants for all the regions... but why does arbok not have any regional variants? that was kinda its shtick, having a different pattern for each region... so why not give regional forms?

The reason so many pokemon change from normal type to dark type over time? dark types are good against ghost types instead of completely ineffective
