Klaus had made that clear to Caroline about 1,000 times. He was an Alpha and he wanted his own Omega, the one that was made just for him. Until then however, Caroline was a fun distraction. ‘I won’t let you hurt my Alpha! You killed Elijah but I won’t let you get Near Klaus you vicious bitch!’ Damon lifted Y/n up quickly, carrying her to the car and sitting her beside him in the back seat while Stefan drove.

It only took Klaus a few hours to get a flight and get to Virginia, the jet taking about 7 1/2. Elijah called him about halfway through his flight and explained what had happened. ‘I’m an Original. It takes much more than that to kill us, don’t you worry about that. Now, we have a big pile of blankets and pillows waiting for you in a hotel room in the next town. How does that sound?’ He asked, watching her eyes brighten in excitement.

Klaus walked through the trees, silently following the 2 sets of footsteps, or rather one set of footsteps that was seemingly dragging the other. ‘I’m sorry! Please Stop?! Alpha!’ A girl was begging as they came into his view he could see the large man holding her around the waist to his side and dragging her along as she tried to keep her legs moving fast enough to match his long strides, no matter how evident it was that she couldn’t.
‘Keep moving!’ He demanded and as she whimpered something inside of the Hybrid had enough. That sound cracked his heart in two and he couldn’t identify why, but he knew this wolf had gone far enough prompting the Original Hybrid to clear his throat. The man froze, pulling the girl to his chest and out of Klaus’ view. ‘You keep your mouth shut, you hear me?’ He whispered.
‘Where do you think you’re going? What kind of Alpha abandons his pack?’ Klaus hated this man already, and he knew he was going to kill him but he wanted answers first.
‘Run.’ The Alpha whispered suddenly, shoving the girl and turning around, lunging at Klaus who was much too quick for him, watching the girl do as she was told and take off into the woods. He huffed a sigh but also appreciated the obedience of this Alphas pack. She was terrified but she still did as her Alpha told her to do…this girl could be a good addition for him.
‘That was a mistake.’ Klaus spoke, grabbing the Alpha by his shirt and just as he was about to snap his neck he smelled it, the sweet, lingering scent on his clothes and Klaus found himself with his hand around the wolfs throat, snarling at him angrily. ‘You really thought you could hide her from me?’
‘She’s mine. That Omega belongs to me, not some half breed monster.’ He felt his fangs grow as his eyes changed color, despising being called those slurs more than anything else.
‘Hmm. Just for that, I’m going to keep you alive and you can watch while she submits to her new Alpha right in front of you.’ Klaus smirked before slamming his skull back into the tree and watching him collapse before turning and running after the girl. She was faster than he expected and it took him a moment to catch up before wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her to a stop. She snarled, trying to yank his arm away before she suddenly froze and he did as well, taking in her scent and hearing his wolf rioting in his skull as if trying to break out of its cage and take over the body they shared. ‘Hello Omega.’ He greeted, holding her tenderly now as he spun her around and met her soft, sweet eyes for the first time.

Most Omegas would tell you that there’s a lot of things that suck about being an Omega, however in Y/n’s opinion the absolute worst thing, was the side-effects of the suppressants. For her the cramps were the worst, though she also got horrible migraines during the time that would be her heat and the one thing that was a universal symptom? They effect your sense of smell.
The suppressants keep your heat away and suppress your scent so that people assume you are a Beta. He’s getting some medications in an IV, can you get yourself home? I can come and get you if-‘
‘No! No, stay with him. I’m coming to the hospital, I’ll be there as soon as I can in an Uber. I’ll see you soon.’ She sighed, hanging up and rushing to grab the books she would need, shoving them into her backpack and running to the stairs.
She had just gotten down to the ground floor when she nearly ran directly into Marcel. The football team had a game tonight so the whole team got to wear their jerseys and they always spent those days being the biggest assholes possible though Y/n had absolutely no time for it today.

My grandparents got custody of me when I was a toddler once they found out we were living in her car…I don’t remember that much, just bits and pieces. She was in and out of different psych wards all the time. She’s in a hospital now, she’s been there for the last 4 years.’ Klaus was horrified. He never wanted to let Y/n out of his sight again. ‘I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have told you th-‘

I will do everything I can to be the Alpha that you need.’ She didn’t say anything back, she just moved to lean over the center console and rest her head on his shoulder. ‘Arthur Harrison. He’s my grandfather.’

‘No, he’s um, he’s my Alpha so he is family.’ Y/n insisted, not waiting for a response before she walked down the hall, pulling him along with his hand tightly in hers. She hesitated outside the room and Klaus moved to peek into the doorway, seeing her grandparents talking quietly before smiling at her and pushing her gently towards the doorway.
‘Oh honey! Thank God you’re here, I was about to call the school when you didn’t answer your phone!’ Her grandmother said, standing up and moving to hug her tightly.
‘Sorry, it’s in my bag and it’s still on silent cause of school…are you okay?’ Y/n asked, looking at her grandfather with tears in her eyes prompting him to sit up, gesturing her to come and hug him which she did. ‘I’m so sorry! I should have looked at the medications closer, I didn’t even-‘
‘None of that! It’s not your fault hun, you didn’t do anything wrong! I’m the one who fucked it up. I’m so sorry, are you alright? Please tell me you got out of school before anything happened?’ He was clearly worried, holding her hands tightly as he waited for an answer, her grandmother back in her chair now looking at her too.
‘I’m okay. There was a few assholes when I was leaving that kind of cornered me-‘
‘What?! I’ll kill them! I swear to God-‘
‘No, it’s okay, I…my Alpha saved me.’ She admitted and they both looked at her, clearly surprised. ‘He drove me here when I told him what happened, he-‘ she looked back to the door, standing up and moving to the door quickly when she didn’t see him, immediately scared that he had left. He was leaning against the wall and clearly waiting for her. ‘What are you doing?’ She laughed, taking his hand and pulling him into the room.
‘I didn’t want to disturb you. Hello, I’m so glad to see that you’re alright sir, she was very worried.’
‘I’m sure. It was very nice of you to bring her here. I’m Arthur.’ The older man greeted him, holding his hand out to shake which Klaus did promptly.
‘I’m Klaus. It’s a pleasure to meet you, sir.’
‘Alright, no more of that “sir” crap, kid. You call me Arthur, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of you…if you hurt my little girl I will kill you, you hear?’ He nodded quickly.
‘I understand. I would rather die than hurt her, the thought turns my stomach.’
‘That’s good to know…what happened at the school? She minimizes things, thinks we can’t handle ‘em but I want the truth.’ He insisted, his eyes hard as he waited for him to respond.
‘Grandpa, I told you-‘
‘I’m asking him.’ Klaus looked back at Y/n who looked embarrassed but he couldn’t lie.
‘It was a group of Alphas from the football team. They were just flirting, they do it all the time. Make an Omega flustered, flirt with her and see which one can get her to come to the game wearing his jacket that night. It’s usually harmless, the Omegas at school know what they’re getting into but they overwhelmed her very quickly. I assume it was also the first thing she was really smelling and it was 6 Alphas in her face all at once.’ Her grandfather didn’t look happy with the idea of those boys picking on his granddaughter but there was one thing bothering him more at that moment.
‘Those jackets anything like the one she’s wearing right now?’ He asked, Klaus looking at Y/n and realizing what he was thinking right away.
‘Grandpa!’
‘It’s okay, love. Yes, that’s my football jacket. I’ve never participated in that shit, it’s only 6 of them that find it entertaining. I gave her my jacket after I realized what was going on, I thought it would help if she only smelled me before I got them to leave.’
‘How did you do that? Most Alphas I know don’t get chased off easily.’
Klaus shook his head. ‘Not usually. They realized she was my Omega and they apologized to me, tried to make it seem like no big deal. I just reminded one of them that has a college scout coming to the game next week and that I’m the one who decides if he catches any passes all night and whether he looks amazing or like an idiot. They left pretty quickly after that.’ A moment of silence passed before the old man began laughing. He was laughing so hard it actually concerned them for a moment until he calmed down.
‘Good job son. I like you. You’re welcome in our home whenever you’d like.’
‘Th-Thank you sir-Arthur! I appreciate it. Oh!’ Klaus chuckled as he was hugged by Y/n’s grandmother as soon as he turned around.
‘You’re a good boy. It’s nice to have a good Alpha around our girl…you protect our girl, do you hear me?’ She whispered the last part forcefully with her hands holding his face and he did hear her, loud and clear.
‘With my life ma’am.’ He swore before she pulled away, squeezing his cheeks and making him blush.
‘It is really nice to have a good Alpha.’ Y/n smiled, holding his hand from where she sat on the end of the hospital bed. ‘So when can you get out of here?’
‘Oh, they want to keep me overnight to make sure there’s no more side effects. Bein’ a buncha’ worry warts in my opinion. But you kids should get outta here, no use in you bein’ cooped up in this hospital too!’ He insisted.
‘Are you sure? I’m happy to stay and hang out with you-‘
‘Actually…’ Klaus spoke up, knowing her grandpa doesn’t want her staying here and deciding to just go for it and ask her out. ‘I’ve got a few hours but I have a game tonight and um…well, you’re already wearing my jacket so do you think maybe you’d like to come? I don’t know how much you like football but you can sit with my friends Omegas on the sidelines and I can take you to dinner afterwards…if you’d like to, you don’t have to-‘ Y/n cut him off quickly, standing up and pressing her lips against his.
‘That sounds like fun…are you okay with that? I don’t know how long you’re staying.’ Y/n spoke to her grandma who was grinning like an idiot.
‘I will probably just stay here tonight, you go! Go enjoy the game and have fun! You make sure she gets home alright.’
‘Yes ma’am.’ Klaus turned to Y/n after she hugged them goodbye. ‘If we leave early we can bring them some dinner from somewhere.’ Klaus proposed and Y/n smiled, pecking his lips again quickly, adoring how sweet he was to think about her grandparents in such a way.
‘Would you like some dinner from that diner down the street? I’ll get your favorites, bring you some things you need from home?’ She offered which seemed to bring her grandmother some sense of relief.
‘Please? My glasses and my yarn bag, make sure my needles are in it as well as my Patterson novel from the table please?’
‘Okay, do you need anything?’ She asked her grandpa who nodded.
‘Bring me my book from my table. And make sure you switch the pills back so this doesn’t happen again and so you have your suppressants back.’
‘I will do that. We’ll be back in a few hours with dinner.’ She promised before taking Klaus’ hand and walking out of there and back out to his car.
‘Are you going to start taking them again?’ Klaus asked as she directed him to her house which was only a few streets over from the hospital.
‘Honestly I hadn’t even thought about it…it’s a comfort to know that other Alphas don’t know that I’m an Omega.’ She told him and he understood but he didn’t want her to take them anymore.
‘I would never let anyone hurt you, you know that, right? You’re mine now, my Omega, my little Bunny. I will never let another Alpha anywhere near you! Never!’ He insisted as he parked the car and hopped out to make his way around to her side. ‘No!’ He shouted as she opened her door. ‘Shut it! Shut the door!’ He demanded and she looked confused as she closed the car door just for him to open it. ‘I help you out of the car, it’s my job. Like how I pump the gas, my little Bunny doesn’t pump gas. I would literally rather you leave my car on E and I have to go to the gas station first thing in the morning rather than knowing that you went to a gas station and put gas in the car. Gas stations are dangerous, you will never be in one unless you’re waiting in the passenger seat like a little Princess.’ He swore and she couldn’t help but giggle as he lifted her out now carrying her in his arms to the front door before putting her down and letting her unlock it.
‘I have to get their stuff but I know you are gonna have to get ready at home so we can grab everything here and go back to your house so you can take your time and get ready before we get them dinner. I’ll call in the order so it’ll be ready when we get there.’ Klaus nodded, grabbing the book from what he assumed was her grandfathers table and handing it to her as she packed it into her grandmas bag.
‘Sounds good.’
‘Then I was thinking…maybe, if you wanted…you could pack a bag and stay here after the game tonight? I don’t want to be alone…and I wanna snuggle.’ He looked down at her surprised before smiling excitedly.
‘That sounds like so much fun. I would love to have a sleepover with you.’ He told her, his hands finding her waist and pulling her to his body to kiss him. Y/n lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck, pulling him closer. His hands slowly moved down from her hips to her butt, squeezing her firm ass and enjoying the moan that he drew from her. Y/n pushed Klaus backwards, dropping into the recliner as his legs hit it, his eyes widening as she climbed onto his lap and straddled him. ‘Y/n, you know don’t have to-‘ she cut him off, kissing him once again, trailing her lips down his jaw to his neck until she found his scent gland and promptly wrapped her lips around it. The growl that came from his throat was so loud she briefly considered if the neighbors had heard it. ‘My God Bunny! Fuck! Spent all your life never thinking you’d have an Alpha, now you’re a needy, horny little slut aren’t you? All mine, my pretty Omega slut!’
‘Yes…yours…’ she mumbled against his neck. ‘Can I?’ She mumbled.
‘Aww, my little Bunny doesn’t want me going out again until I have her mark on me, hmm? I’ve got myself a jealous little mate, haven’t I?’
‘No!’ She hissed as she pulled away, Klaus’ hand snatching the back of her neck, his claws sinking into her flesh and making her whimper as he yanked her back.
‘I don’t like liars Bunny. I don’t care if your jealous, honestly it’s hot. You can be a possessive, jealous, needy little whore all day every day, but don’t you fucking lie about it! Got it?’
‘Yes.’ She continued whimpering.
‘Yes what?’
‘Yes Daddy!’ His grip on her neck eased up as he heard what she had said and her eyes flew open as she realized what she had said. ‘Alpha! Alpha-I’m sorry! I didn’t mean it!’
Klaus’ eyes darken as he looks up at her, his hand snatching her throat tightly and shoving her back, pinning her onto the carpet, his hips pushing as hard into her as he could to keep her legs apart around his waist. She could feel his hard cock pressed against his jeans and she whines, desperate to see if it’s as big as it feels. ‘I’m going to let that lie go because I know you’re embarrassed but that’s the only time, do you understand?’ He asked and she nodded promptly. ‘No more embarrassment, okay? ‘Damn right I do. I’m not going to that game unless I have your mark on my neck too…Perfect little girl for her Alpha. Waited for me like a good girl all these years…my good girl.’ As Klaus leaned back down she bore her throat to him, giving him a victorious feeling as the only Alpha his Omega will ever bare her throat for. He knows that for Y/n this is something very special and she already knows that she wants him. ‘I’m the luckiest Alpha in the world.’ He mumbled before sinking his fangs into her perfect, soft skin right over her scent gland. He sunk his teeth as deeply as he could and though he hated her pain filled whimper, he knew he would cherish this moment forever. After another moment he pulled his fangs back, grabbing onto her thighs that were around his waist and sitting up on his knees with her on top of him. He held her up, hands massaging her ass and producing a filthy moan before she leaned close and dug her sharp little fangs into his scent gland making him grunt. ‘Sharp little fuckin’ fangs, precious Bunny…’ he hissed, allowing her to sit like that for as long as she wanted which was about 5 minutes.
When marking their mate they inject venom into the bite so that the mark never fully heals, also injecting their scent that will linger for several days to a week. Alphas venom is strong smelling and so they don’t have to inject very much into the bite, Betas are the same, Omegas however are not. Their venom has their scent but it is slight and therefore they need to inject a larger amount of venom until their mate carries their scent. Klaus would have happily sat there for an hour if that’s what his Omega needed to mark him properly.
She eventually began taking her nails through his hair and scratching his scalp roughly. It was fucking delicious and he couldn’t keep his moans in if he tried (which he didn’t). ‘So good Omega, make your Alpha feel so good.’ He rumbled, her fangs receding from his flesh before she pressed her lips to his roughly.
‘My Alpha is so good to me, so patient. Letting me mark you up so good. Thank you Alpha.’ She praised and he pecked her lips once more before lifting her up and setting her onto the recliner. ‘Wait, I should get-‘
‘You sit down and let Alpha take care of you.’ He told her before standing up straight and falling forward as his head spun. Y/n was quick, catching him and easing him down onto the chair which she thanked God was there or she definitely would have dropped him. She needed to inject him with much more venom than he did her and dizziness is often a side effect for several minutes at least.
‘Now you sit and let me pamper you.’ She giggled, hopping up and making her way to the kitchen where she got him a juice box and 2 of her grandmothers freshly baked cookies. ‘Drink Daddy, it’ll make you feel better.’ He groaned, pulling her to his side and feeding her a bite of the cookie before eating it himself and moaning at the wonderful taste. ‘Yeah, my grandma can bake! Don’t worry, marking is the only time I will insist on babying you, every other moment is all yours.’ She giggled, kissing his nose sweetly before hopping up. ‘You eat those, I’m gonna get my grandpa some clean clothes and change for the game. I’ll be right back. Don’t get up until the dizziness is gone. You could hurt yourself and then you won’t be playing in any game.’
He rolled his eyes but nodded none the less. ‘Okay Bunny, I’ll wait right here.’ And he did just that. She was upstairs for about 20 minutes before coming back down in a pair of tight red jeans and a tight long sleeved black top that she had cutely painted his number on. ‘Are you ready to go?’
‘Are you?’ She asked, giggling before he stood and took the bag from her, making to move to his car.
‘Let’s go Omega!’ With that he led her out of the house and to his car where he took her to his home instead, taking his time to get ready for his game.
Klaus held his Omegas hand tightly in the crowd of people, not willing to lose her here as they walked onto the field and down the side to where the team sat on the sidelines.
‘Are you sure I should be on the field? I don’t want to cause a problem or-‘
‘You wont, I promise. You are going to stay with Enzo and Kai’s Omegas beside the team. Coach lets them stay there so they don’t have to be alone in the bleachers. I don’t want you up there.’ He told her, walking passed his team mates and over to a bench with 2 other girls and 2 players in their uniforms.
‘Hey Klaus! You made it, we were worried! Heard what happened earlier, everything okay?’ One of the guys asked, everyone now paying attention as Klaus greeted the 2 team mates with some kind of handshake.
‘Yeah, all good. I don’t want them anywhere near her, but we’re okay. It’s alright if she joins you girls, right?’ He asked and the Omegas both smiled excitedly.
‘Of course! We’re always happy to have another friend to keep warm with on the bench.’ One of them joked, both laughing though Y/n could see they were bundled up as it got colder, the sun setting quickly now.
‘I didn’t even consider that. Oh fuck, it’s gonna be cold!’ She laughed though she was concerned as Klaus kissed the side of her head.
‘Don’t worry love, I came prepared.’ He spoke, opening his bag as the girls sat on the bench. ‘This is Bonnie and Vicky and their Alphas, Enzo and Kai. They’re my best friends, you’ll see them a lot.’
‘It’s nice to meet you. Glad there’s some guys on the team that aren’t complete assholes. It’s great to meet some mated Omegas too, most of them are uh…’
‘Sluts. The word you’re looking for is sluts.’ Vicky laughed, pointing down the fence to see several girls practically naked and flirting with Marcel and Lucien hard.
‘I was trying to be nicer but yeah, that’s the word.’ She chuckled before Vicky and Bonnie led her to the bench.
‘We have some blankets here that you can share, we always snuggle up here while they play. You’re gonna be here from now on, right?’ Bonnie asked and Y/n looked back to see Klaus looking up with a hopeful face making her smile.
‘As long as everything is cool with my grandparents then yeah, and I’m sure they won’t mind me coming to the games.’ Klaus leaned down to where she sat with the girls now, kissing her cheek before pulling a thick blanket from his bag and handing it to her.
‘This will keep you plenty warm, I promise. If anyone gives you any trouble you go to the Coach, he won’t let anyone bother you girls. Wish me luck.’
‘Not that you need it but good luck. You’re gonna do great Daddy.’ She whispered the last bit in his ear before kissing him. ‘Be careful.’
‘Always.’ He assured her before running back to his team.
‘It’s nice to see Klaus have someone. His parents have never come to any of his games since he started playing in Sophomore year. His brother has come a few times with Rebekah but he’s in college now.’
‘Yeah, Elijah is crazy busy with school. His parents are assholes though, fuck them. I’ll be here every game from now on.’ She assured them, pulling the blanket up and around herself as the temperature dropped.
‘That’s what we like to hear! He’s such a sweetheart, he deserves an Omega all his own.’ She agreed, knowing that her Alpha was good and deserved to be happy.
As the night went on the girls wrapped the blankets around each other, huddling up to keep warm. ‘Having another person makes all the difference with the cold.’
‘I can tell, I’m going to keep a pillow in Klaus’ car to sit on, this bench is cold as fuck on my ass.’ Y/n joked, Bonnie and Vicky giggling but also both agreeing.
By the end of the night they had won and Y/n knew that she had made her Alpha blush more than once with her cheering for him. She promised herself to be here from now on as he clearly loved having someone there, promising to bring her grandparents one day too. They would be happy to cheer for him and her grandfather would love to see high school football.
‘Did you have a good time at least?’ He asked as they turned into her driveway after getting a late dinner, ready to go in and relax after the long day they’d had.
‘It was fun, yeah! I’ll be more prepared next week.’ He looked over at her, his eyes excited with the idea that she will come to his games from now on.
‘I’m happy to hear that. I loved having you there with me, though your cheering was very loud.’
‘Oh, you loved it.’ She teased, allowing him the time to get out and walk around to her door to lift her out.
‘I really did.’ He smiled, carrying his bag with them into the house and locking the door behind them as Y/n texted her grandma to tell her she was home safely. ‘I’m gonna make sure the back door is locked.’ He told her as she began climbing the stairs.
‘It is! It’s always locked Klaus, we-okay. Whatever helps you sleep.’ She rolled her eyes but appreciated his double checking as she walked up the stairs and into her bedroom. She fixed her nest quickly, not wanting it to look too messy before grabbing her pajamas and changing quickly into the shorts and tank top. When Klaus walked up the stairs she was waiting in her nest and he couldn’t help but smile as he shut the door, taking in the scent of her and himself, noticing his jacket was hanging at the end of the bed.
‘I’ve never been in a nest before…it looks really comfy.’ He told her, sliding off his shoes and stripping his clothes down to his boxers before crawling in.
‘Better not have. No other nest you should ever be in.’ She grumbled, nuzzling close to him and pressing her lips to his jaw teasingly.
‘Never want anyone else.’ He swore, taking hold of her hips and pulling her close.
That is how the couple spent every night from then on. Klaus practically moved in with his Omega to get away from his horrible parents, happy to get to sleep in a comfortable nest every single night and to have family who supports him more than just his brother and sister.
They were together until they left for college together, Klaus meeting Y/n’s mother before they left and making as good an impression as he could on the traumatized woman. He proposed to Y/n that very night and they got married during their second year of college. Klaus never had to worry about his Omega second guessing their relationship again after that, she was all his and he would be all hers for the rest of their eternity together.
(Klaus is a bit of a stalker in this one but not in a creepy or Yandere way, he’s just a sweet Alpha with no social skills)
He had caught her scent the first time in the quad and followed the scent all the way to the library where he found an Omega surrounded by strong Alphas who were clearly trying to get her attention.
Klaus had known that he had to have her but he also knew he couldn’t compete with the large football players that were after her and so he sent her a bouquet of roses. The note attached told her of his interest in her and she actually found it quite sweet, flattered by the completely new approach from an Alpha. Usually they’re all in your face and huge assholes trying to show you that they’re the better option but “NM” was trying to ‘woo’ her without being intimidating and mean. She found she actually loved it.
The next day she got another note and it was lovely,
‘I cannot get your sweet smile out of my mind, I wish more than anything it was me you were smiling at. Seeing the sadness on your face as those asshole Alphas surround you hurts me to witness, your face should only ever be happy. I have fallen in love with your sweet scent, honeysuckle and warm caramel haunt my nose in a way I didn’t know possible and I do hope that my scent pleases you the same.’
He had sent her a stuffed wolf that was covered in a strong Alpha smell letting her know that he had deliberately scented it, the smell of Pine Trees, Whiskey and Leather being overwhelmingly delicious to her and actually making her a bit light headed as she sat on her bed huffing the scent of the stuffed wolf and feeling the slick begin dripping from between her legs.
She had placed the stuffed wolf into her nest and hoped that her Alpha would introduce himself today but he did not, he had left her another rose and a blanket that was heavily covered in his scent.
She was a bit confused as to why he wouldn’t come and find her when she accepted the stuffy, No Omega in the world would keep the scent of an Alpha in her living space if she didn’t love it but either way she laid the blanket into her nest and snuggled up with it after class.
She received things at her dorm every evening after that, except occasionally for the breakfast he would send to her when he knew she hadn’t slept very well.
He had watched her for 2 weeks before the morning that she didn’t show up in her first class period, she always showed up and he was worried now.
After that class he ditched his next lecture and brought his Omega a basket full of snacks and a new blanket as well. He stood around the corner as he always did only to see the door open and get hit by her scent 45 feet away which could only happen in one case…she was in heat.
The fact that she had opened the door at all was concerning and he couldn’t stop the growl that built in his chest at her wonderful scent.
‘Are we ever going to meet or is this going to be our relationship forever?’ She wondered and Klaus winced at the sound of her harsh voice from her heat wreaking havoc on her body. ‘If you don’t want me then stop doing this to me!’ She demanded and Klaus took a breath before looking around the corner and seeing his Omega looking exhausted and leaning against the doorframe. ‘You?’ She questioned and he winced. ‘No! It’s not bad, I just-don’t take this the wrong way but, I didn’t even know you were an Alpha-you’re just so quiet…well come here then! You induced my heat, the least you can do is comfort me!’ Klaus growled, not liking his mates snappy attitude and she seemed to know that as he stood over her, giving her exactly what she wanted in the end which was him being closer though he still stood back only allowing her to hold onto his shirt.
‘Your mouth is going to get you into trouble Omega.’
She peeked up with curious, teasing eyes. ‘Are you gonna punish me while I’m suffering, Alpha?’
He shook his head and tilted her head up with his hand under her chin. ‘You know that I won’t, Alpha won’t hurt you. I-I worried when you weren’t in class…I needed to know that you were alright.’ She nodded, grabbing onto the sides of his jacket and pulling him closer.
‘Such a good Alpha, needed to check on me. So good to me Alpha!’ He felt a rumble expel from his chest in pleasure, knowing that his Omega was recognizing him as being a good Alpha for her. ‘My Alpha takes such good care of me-‘ she brushed a hand up his chest before running it through his hair. ‘Brings me snacks and comfort and scents everything so good for my nest, Alphas so good to me…just me?’
Klaus let out that rumbling sound again, much louder and deeper this time. ‘My Omega! Mine! Knew from the moment I smelled you that no one else could have you! Won’t let them near you ever again, Omega!’ He pulled her against his chest, unable to fight his instincts anymore, needing his Omega in his arms but her hands pressed to his chest, stopping him from scenting her which he instantly grumbled at.
‘My Alpha? No other Omegas anymore, just me…right?’ His head snapped up, suddenly understanding her demeanor and nervous scent.
‘My Omega is all I need, never even thought about another Omega since I smelled your scent, you’re all I want. No worrying about that, and there sure isn’t a line of Omegas looking for a nerdy Alpha-‘
‘My Alphas kind, and sweet, brings me snacks and blankets, takes care of me…and my Alpha is so pretty.’ She complimented, the Omega moving her arms around his neck to pull him close. ‘Omegas steal…I would steal you.’
‘No stealing. I’m all yours…let Alpha have you, let me take care of you. Will you let Alpha help you through your heat?’ She nodded quickly, pulling him down and pressing her lips to his in a needy kiss. Klaus held her close, relishing the feeling of finally being able to hold his Omega and take in her scent, a scent that was slowly killing him. ‘I need to get a few things, I didn’t know you were in heat and I need to take care of you-‘
‘You’re leaving?’ She whined and as he looked down into her eyes he knew he couldn’t go anywhere. He couldn’t hurt her like that and God only knows who she would answer the door to next as her heat gets worse and her head becomes fuzzy.
‘No. No Princess, I’m gonna have stuff delivered, don’t you worry about a thing. You go snuggle up in your nest while I get some stuff brought to us.’ Her eyes lit up and she pulled him close, kissing him hard before she hopped over to her nest, fixing a few things before crawling in allowing Klaus to see all of the things he had scented for her already in her nest making his chest swell with pride and happiness that he could make his Omega happy like a good Alpha.
He quickly had a friend get a bunch of water bottles and snacks for them as well as grab a few things from his dorm for him, telling him to bring it urgently. ‘There’s only 4 Omegas in the whole school, she’ll move on or she’ll be alone cause everyone else is going to love you.’ She grinned, snuggling back into his chest and scenting him over again since there was another Omega in the room.
I wanted to write a different kind of Alpha!Klaus x Omega and this idea has been kicking around in my head for a while.
Summary: Klaus’ father has been trying to get him for years, not wanting his son to go through the shift the first time alone but Esther always made it impossible. Now he is a werewolf being moved in with his father and his pack-a pack that every member but him has grown up in. As an Alpha and a new wolf he needs to figure out how to survive. He tries to do as his father tells him but once Klaus stumbles across the Omega that he was told to stay away from…it may all be over for him…
If you would have told Klaus 2 weeks ago that he was a werewolf thanks to his father that he had never met he would have laughed in your face.
And yet here he stands, having been moved out of his mother and step fathers home and into his real fathers house on a plot of land in the middle of nowhere.
Klaus didn’t have a problem with getting out of his abusive step fathers home of course. It sucked leaving his siblings but he can talk to them whenever he wants and he won’t have to live his life in fear of Mikael all the time. No, the main problem was moving into a werewolf pack full of people who had known what they were since birth while he has to figure it all out since his mother refused to let him even speak to his father before everything went wrong.
He had turned on his 18th birthday like every other wolf, but did he know that? Of course not, because his mother refused to let him meet his father who had been begging to know his son for years. Klaus had to give him credit, he had tried, but his mother was…his mother. If she didn’t want something to happen it wouldn’t.
And so the anger built inside of him months before his first turn and though he tried to control it, it was the cause of him finally hitting Mikael back and hospitalizing him. His mother buried it to keep their business private like always but then he turned for the first time and while he had gotten out of the house, he was left alone in the woods and in agony not knowing what was happening until his father found him already in his wolf form. He had come for him, after everything he had still tried to take care of him and it meant everything to Klaus. His fathers presence was calming during his change and it went a bit easier before spending the rest of the night on all fours.
Ansel had removed Klaus from his home immediately and he had enough credits to graduate early, so he took his son home where he now needed to live with the pack that he never knew existed but had always known him. Wolves growing up outside the pack wasn’t normal, in fact it was unheard of and he got many stares as his father drove through the settlement they had built here which was rather cozy honestly.
‘Don’t worry Klaus, everything will be alright. You’re safe here, and they’ll get over the staring, I promise.’ Ansel spoke as he helped him move the rest of his things into his room.
‘I’ve just never been the new kid before. It’s weird, in the weirdest way possible.’ He was unsure of how the others would treat him honestly.
Klaus had found out when he turned back that not only was he the freak who had grown up outside of the pack, but he was also an Alpha. His father was the Alpha of the pack, and though he had elders that assisted him in managing everything and making decisions it all came down to him in the end.
Alphas were rare, most of the pack is made up of Betas as all packs are. There were only 2 other Alphas around his age here and he knew it would make him even weirder. The only designation that was rarer still was Omegas, of which there were only 2 in the entire pack. One was a married mother of 5 and the other was a 17 year old girl that his father told him to stay away from as she already has 2 Alphas vying for her affections and adding another would be very overwhelming to her.
Klaus felt for her, he couldn’t imagine what she felt like but he knew what he felt like right now and it wasn’t fun.
‘Why don’t you go look around, get yourself used to the place. It’s not too big but it’ll take you a minute, and it’ll be good for you to get out. Your safe place has always been the woods for a reason kiddo.’ His father ruffled his hair as he walked passed making Klaus feel like a child but he was right. When he needed to get away the woods is where he went to draw or paint, sometimes just sit and think for hours.
‘Okay. Why not? Nothing better to do and I might as well get the staring over with.’ He rolled his eyes, pulling his boots on and walking back out of the house. The houses were all spread out he noted, giving everyone ample space which was quite nice. He knew the pack was very well off and they got everything they needed delivered every week, his father having promised to get him whatever art supplies he needed.
As he walked through the place every person he saw stopped talking or working to look at him, a few nice enough to wave but most just…staring. It was very uncomfortable and it was making him feel suffocated. As he walked passed the town hall there were about a dozen men outside who were joking loudly before one of them pointed at him, everyone stopping all at once to look at him and this time it was all too much.
Klaus sped up his pace and turned down a path into the trees, running as soon as no one could see him anymore and he kept running until his tight chest became too much and he tripped over his own feet. He pushed his back against a tree as his vision blurred slightly, he was gasping for breath that felt like it would never come and his head became dizzy. It felt like he sat there like that for hours before seeing a blurry shape of someone in front of him, their voice sounding a million miles away…until he smelled that lovely scent. It was like the sky after it stormed and wild berries, it settled in his chest and gave him enough to focus on that he began to hear the voice more clearly.
‘It’s okay, just keep breathing. Put your head between your knees!’ The voice was demanding but also soft and he enjoyed it a lot as he did as she said. Someone was hugging him tightly and it was amazing as nails scratched against his scalp and his breathing slowed. ‘There you go sweetie, just keep doing that. You’re safe, not a thing to worry about. Safe…’
‘Thank you…I’m s-sorry…’ he mumbled and she shushed him before he nuzzled closer to her causing her to freeze but as he just held close to her she seemed to relax.
‘Do you feel better now?’ He nodded, sitting up straight and taking a breath.
‘Thank you…I don’t know what…’ he sighed as he didn’t know what to say before looking over at her and feeling his breath stolen again.
‘You were having a panic attack, it’s nothing to be sorry about. I’m sure everyone staring at you endlessly wasn’t a very comfortable situation, they do it to me all the time so I get it. You must be Niklaus, I would like to formally apologize for my pack. We don’t get outsiders around here and a pack member outsider is even weirder. They’ll get used to you quick, and you’ll get used to them too, I promise it won’t be that bad.’
‘Thanks…it’s better than living with my mother and step father, that’s for sure…you can call me Klaus by the way, or Nik if you want. What should I call you?’ He inquired and she smiled.
‘I’m Y/n, it’s a pleasure to meet you.’ She shook his hand making them both chuckle before he couldn’t hold it in anymore.
‘You smell really nice…is that a weird thing to say?’ Her eyes widened a bit and she blushed.
‘Not really…you can tell you’re not from here though. Alphas are all cocky but not many of them have the guts to tell an Omega she smells good as if it’s not obvious.’ Now it was his turn to look shocked. Klaus thought back to what his father had said and he jumped up instantly startling her.
‘I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to-to bother you. I-I’m gonna go back to-fuck!’ He turned to walk back up the path quickly when his hand was caught and he felt a tingle up his arm that was wonderful.
‘Hey! You aren’t bothering me Nik, why would you think that?’ She looked a bit hurt and he felt bad, not wanting her to think he didn’t like her but also not knowing what to do in this situation.
‘No, I was just-my father…said to stay away from the Omega-he said you were already overwhelmed with 2 assholes who won’t leave you alone and he didn’t want me to make it worse. Which I thought would be easy cause I don’t even know what the fuck that means! And now I’ve done the one thing I was told not to and-‘ he stopped as he saw her staring at him as if she were annoyed.
‘He told you to stay away?’ Klaus nodded. ‘As if I’m not a smart enough Omega to make my own choice?! As if I can’t decide who I want my mate to be without the Alpha telling his son that he’s not an option when he has just as much of a right to be?! Fuck That! If you want to be near me you can and he doesn’t get to say anything about it. It’s one of the very few things he doesn’t have a say in…come with me!’ She demanded, taking his hand and walking back up the path quickly.
‘I feel that I’ve upset you and I very much didn’t mean to, I’m-‘
‘You have done nothing wrong Nik. As an Omega I get to choose between whatever Alphas want to be my mate. That means if you are drawn to me and I smell good to you, you want to be near me then you can and no one can interfere with that and the fact that your father tried is against our laws and honestly quite insulting!’ She raged, still dragging him through town now, everyone watching again.
‘You do smell good, like really good and you’re comforting. I like being with you but I’m starting to think that everyone thinks you’re dragging me back to my house to have me killed like I just tried to jump you in the woods…’ as he said that she stopped and looked around at everyone who was staring and rolled her eyes.
‘Stop staring at him! You’re freaking him out! Give him a chance to get settled, for fucks sake!’ She yelled this at a group of large grown men and they all had the intelligence to look terrified, going back to work at chopping wood which they already had a monstrous pile of. Y/n continued pulling him along until they got back to his house where she pounded on the door angrily and didn’t stop until his father opened the door.
‘Oh shit…what did he do?’ She scoffed, looking ready to hit him out right but Klaus thought that might be against the laws here, assaulting your Alpha.
‘He didn’t do anything. You did! How dare you tell him that he’s not allowed to see me, that he needs to stay away from me! As if I can’t choose my Alpha for myself, as if I’m too fucking stupid to make my own decision!’
‘No, Y/n, I didn’t mean to-‘
‘It doesn’t matter your intentions! You had no right to deny Klaus or myself a chance at that! Whether he grew up here or not, whether I hate being followed around by Tyler and Matt or not! It’s not your place and you know it!’ She was pissed and while he thought he should be uncomfortable with this, he was actually quite turned on by it. She’s hot when she’s mad.
‘You are right. Completely right and I apologize, I didn’t mean to interfere, I was more nervous that he would do something insulting without knowing it and end up with those two idiots jumping him. I’m sorry.’ Klaus had never seen his father nervous but clearly an angry Omega was not something anyone wanted, Alphas and Betas alike.
‘Let them try, I will fuck them up! Come on Nik, I’m hungry. Let’s go get some lunch.’ He loved how she kept his hand tightly in hers as she turned around to leave again. He turned his head to smile at his father who winked down at him with his own smirk before closing the door and leaving them both walking back towards the town, turning up a different path and taking him into a large house. ‘Hey mom. This is Klaus, can he stay for lunch?’
‘Of course! It’s so nice to finally meet you, your father has been trying to get you here for a long time.’ By the women’s soft smell Klaus assumed she was the other Omega his father had mentioned and she smelled lovely. Nothing like his Omega however, she smelled almost floral and motherly.
‘Thank you, it’s a pleasure to meet you, I hope I’m not imposing. She just said “let’s go get lunch”.’ He chuckled awkwardly but she patted his shoulder.
‘We always make plenty, lots of people eat with us here and we make meals for the older pack members as well. Come on in.’ He was sat on a couch beside Y/n and there was a few kids playing on the floor making him smile.
‘They’re cute but they’re annoying as fuck.’ She stated and he just snorted.
‘My littlest brother is 5, trust me, I know. I guess it’s different when they’re your own.’ He shrugged before her mother brought them both a large helping of chicken and pasta drenched in vodka sauce and parmesan cheese. ‘This smells incredible!’
‘Thank you sweetie. I hope you like it.’
‘I haven’t had a home cooked meal in…I don’t know how long.’ He admitted, more to himself than anything but Y/n had heard him.
‘Really? Why is that? What does your mom do?’ He shrugged.
‘Nothing really. She’s a rich wife, hires help to raise the kids and clean the house while Mikael works. She does her Pilates and book club and shopping with her friends.’ Klaus was practically scarfing down the food now and Y/n put her hand on his shoulder.
‘No one is going to take that from you, it’s all yours Nik. You can have seconds too, thirds if you want. Seriously, this is a wolf pack, we eat like nobodies business, my mom makes a lot of food and you can eat all you want. Please don’t choke?’ He was startled by that but chewed a bit slower.
‘Sorry…I suppose I still need to get used to not being home…my step father would take food away when I did something wrong pretty often.’ Y/n shook her head instantly.
‘You don’t need to be sorry for that. That’s fucked up…you will always have food here.’ He believed her, enjoying her treatment as she raked her nails along his scalp as he ate slower now.
‘Thank you. That feels wonderful.’ He admitted, rumbling out a pleased sound before leaning closer to her, her scent somehow improving which he didn’t think was possible. ‘Fuck, you smell fantastic!’ She blushed a dark shade as he nuzzled closer into her neck and she allowed it, seeming quite comfortable with it.
‘Thank you. You smell really good too…like heavy pine trees and paint…I don’t want to overwhelm you when you’re still getting used to being here. I don’t want you to have to figure out your feelings for an Omega when you already have to get used to being a wolf-‘
‘Don’t tell me that you want me to leave, please? I don’t think I could do that right now…’ he growled, the snarling beast in his head refusing to leave this girl even if Klaus wanted to which he most assuredly does not.
‘I don’t want you to leave. You’re the first Alpha whose affections I enjoy, you’re not rude and pushy, and I like taking care of you. I just don’t want to make it harder on you or make you enemies here by being around you.’ Klaus was confused by that.
‘Enemies? Those other Alphas, they can’t just accept that you would choose someone else…if you did of course, I’m not making assumptions on-‘ Y/n cut him off, pressing her lips to his and it felt perfect for the both of them. The kiss was everything, Klaus found excitement in it but also complete comfort at being in her arms and Y/n found her wolf purring at the idea of her mate holding her close and also felt a huge wave of safety and protection in his embrace as his arms wound around her.
‘Alphas don’t take losing very well. They would be in some pretty big trouble if they hurt you but I don’t think it would stop them and I don’t want-‘
‘Shh, it’s alright.’ Klas had this overwhelming urge to calm her worries, he wanted to protect her and make her feel safe. His wolf pushed him to let her know that she is protected and he did, kissing her head and handing her back her bowl of food. ‘Eat love, there’s nothing for you to worry about Omega.’ Klaus had no clue where calling her that came from but her eyes lit up and she seemed to love it so he let it go.
‘But Tyler and Matt are-‘
‘From what I can deduce, idiots, and if they want to jump me they can. All it’s going to do is show everyone how good a choice you made not being with morons. I haven’t even met them yet and I already know they’re stupid. Relax.’ He kissed her forehead before going back to eating once she did.
Y/n’s mother had been listening in, not yet trusting the new boy around her daughter. An Alpha that is new to his change can be a bit volatile and unpredictable so she was worried, though she quickly realized that she didn’t need to be. Niklaus was a perfect gentleman and even with all of his new instincts and feelings he was protecting and looking out for her Omega daughter. He would make a good Alpha of the pack one day, though she kept that to herself for now. She was sure to tell everyone about Klaus and Y/n bonding, wanting them to know what a kind and caring boy the Alphas son really was, as well as wanting the pack to watch out for her daughter and soon to be son in law.
Klaus spent every day with Y/n from then on. He never wanted to be without her and it seemed like she didn’t either. Everyone became accustomed to seeing them around together until Tyler and Matt had to ruin it.
Klaus was walking down the path early in the morning towards Y/n’s house for their early morning ritual, enjoying breakfast in her room before going back to sleep snuggled up together for a few hours every morning. It was their habit and no one minded, Klaus’ father happy that his son was doing so well at courting an Omega despite being so new and Y/n’s parents loving to see their Omega daughter not feeling pressured and creeped out by an Alpha for the first time in her life.
When Klaus didn’t arrive on time though she was worried, she knew something was wrong as Klaus had never once made her wait and so she pulled on her shoes before walking outside to go to his house. Before she got to the town however she heard both angry and pain filled growls making her turn to find all 3 of the Alphas that have been trying to gain her favor in an all out brawl.
‘What The Fuck?!’ She snapped and they all froze, looking up to reveal their bloody faces instantly. ‘You 2 idiots think it’s okay to assault the Alphas new son just because I’ve been spending time with him?’
‘You’ve been spending all day every day with him Y/n! You have to give us some time to try and win you over, just wanted him to be in bed for a few days.’ Matt explained, the softer one of the pair not wanting to upset you but also not wanting to lose the chance at an Omega.
‘He just got here! He shouldn’t be in the running for your mate at all! He has no clue how to care for an Omega! He can go find himself a little Beta bitch to mate with and leave my girl alone!’ Tyler growled, shoving Klaus who glared back but didn’t move.
‘I am not your girl, and you know not to call me that! And you know what? You’ve been an ass since the day I presented as if you thought I had no choice but you and honestly, I would rather be alone than have you as an Alpha! You will never be my mate! You’re cruel Tyler, I don’t like that about you but even worse, your cocky attitude is such a turn off. I choose Klaus.’
‘You can’t do that!’ He raged, glaring at you, eyes fully black in his rage.
‘I can and I am. If Klaus wants me as his Omega then I will accept him, do you know why? Because he didn’t care what I was, he likes me for me, being an Omega is just a plus for him.’ She moved to help Klaus stand, pulling a twig from his hair and brushing the dirt off of him, careful not to hurt him as she didn’t know where he was bruised besides his bloody nose and split lip.
‘Are you sure? I’m still getting used to this, I don’t want to do something wrong…’ Klaus admitted but she could see how happy he really was.
‘I want you Niklaus…if you want me that is…I know I’m kind of needy and bitchy and a bit too emotional but I really-‘ Klaus cut her off, leaning down and pressing his lips to hers sweetly.
‘You are perfect. I love how much you need me, I enjoy watching you scare everyone and you’re allowed to be emotional Princess…Mine.’ He rumbled deeply in his chest which was a new noise for him but he enjoyed how much his Omega loved it. ‘Let’s get you home, breakfast and a bit of a longer nap today are needed I think.’ He declared and she nodded, taking his hand and moving to follow him before she was suddenly grabbed from behind, the tight grip hurting her sensitive skin as Tyler dug his claws into her sides. ‘Let her go!’ Nik warned but as he stepped closer Y/n cried out in pain from his claws sinking deeper.
‘You don’t get to just wander in here and have whatever you want because you’re the Alphas son! I’ve been after her for years and you take her in 4 fuckin days?! No! She’s mine and I will mark her myself!’ He smirked, leaning down to her ear to talk directly to her now. ‘How long is your perfect Alpha boy gonna want you then? Huh?’ Tyler’s fangs were out and he shoved her head to the side roughly making her cry out as he bent it painfully.
‘She doesn’t want you so you’re going to force her to take you? Spend the rest of your lives knowing she never wanted you and you had to force yourself onto a sweet little Omega just to get a girl? You’re fucking pathetic!’ Nik laughed, causing Tyler’s grip to tighten. He could hear people arriving around them now, clearly concerned including Y/n’s parents who were growling at the idiot holding their daughter. ‘You’re going to take her and do it in front of everyone so they all know that you need to force yourself onto a girl just to get someone to love you. ‘Klaus-‘ Y/n’s mother tried to stop him as Tyler got more and more angry.
‘You know what? Go ahead Tyler, if an idiot like you is this desperate for her then she can’t be worth much of anything at all-‘ and that was Tyler’s last straw as he shoved Y/n away and lunged for Klaus who was waiting for him, taking him to the ground before Klaus flipped them over and began beating his face in. ‘Fucking Asshole! If you ever touch her again I will kill you! I’ll! Fucking! Kill! You!’ He raged as he continued beating the boy. No one intervened, knowing that Y/n had clearly agreed to be Klaus’ Omega was enough, an Alpha killing a man who harms his Omega is a right by law and so if he wanted Tyler dead, then Tyler would die. ‘Think you can mark my Omega by force?! Klaus considered her words for a moment before sighing. He knew that if his wolf said something that he was always right so he would trust his mates wolf as well and just take the heat. ‘Relax your muscles and just hold onto me.’ He instructed, bending her head to the side to expose her neck and licking over his sharpened fangs, tasting the venom dripping from them slowly before sinking them into her soft flesh on her neck. She hissed in pain, clutching his hair and pulling tightly as she whimpered, Nik scratching his claws up and down her back.
‘Thank you…my Alpha.’
Later that night the newly mated couple was sound asleep and completely oblivious to the window being pushed open.
The figure that slid through the window was completely silent as he stepped towards the nest, overwhelmed with the scent of the beautiful Omega, needing to stifle a moan when he inhaled it and knowing that she would be his momentarily. Their parents had gone on vacation for their 25th wedding anniversary and that weekend as Mikael had wanted to take his wife on a couples retreat for older Beta couples, It was the perfect time for Elijah to decide to throw a party. He’s a Sophomore in college and the campus was only 15 minutes from his house giving him the perfect place to have people over, nearly his whole class as well as Freshmen coming, his Beta Katherine having talked him into it as Elijah wasn’t a rule breaker but he would do anything for his mate. The house was packed, drunk college students everywhere and despite his attempts, he couldn’t get his siblings to stay upstairs. Rebekah was making friends with popular Beta girls, Kol was completely stoned with some burn outs in the backyard and Klaus was enjoying his night, watching drunken idiots do stupid shit. Thanks to Klaus’ Alpha status, something he was alone with in his family full of Betas (Betas taking up something like 80% of the population, Alphas at 19 and Omegas at less than 1), most of the kids left him alone or just gave him the odd stare. Alphas weren’t as common as they used to be but there were still plenty of them, though most of them tended to flock together, Klaus however was just happier alone. ‘Whatever man, the ugly bitch is a fucking prude anyway. She’s all yours.’ With that, they were gone and Klaus held the girls hand, pulling her after him gently and getting a cold pack from the freezer before guiding her down the stairs to his room, unlocking the door that he had ensured no one could get into.
‘Come on in, no one will bother you down here. It’s also relatively sound proof, so at least that God awful music stops.’ He joked as he tried to calm her as he could smell her fear, sitting beside her on the couch and wrapping the ice pack around her arm.
‘Thank God, I thought there was no escaping it.’ She giggled, still stiff and uncomfortable but the sound made him smile. ‘Thank you for helping me, they’re these frat jerks who have been fucking with me since the start of term…never thought they would do something like that though.’ Klaus could tell she had been drinking but she also wasn’t so drunk she wasn’t thinking straight which was a comfort for him at the moment, seeing how she held his hand so tightly that she felt something between them too.
‘Why are they bothering you?’ He wondered and she sighed, leaning back into the couch.
‘I have classes with them and I’m quiet, honestly I think it started as a dare to go out with the shy girl who never talked to anyone. When I ignored all of them, they got more…pushy…they started following me around and teasing me. I guess they thought since it wasn’t on campus they could do what they wanted, and assholes mixed with alcohol is a terrible combo. Eventually they’ll get bored and find some other poor Beta to bother but until then, I ignore them.’ Klaus couldn’t explain why this upset him so much. He felt a rage bubbling up in him that was wild and angry, he hated men that tried to force themselves on women of course, he found it disgusting but his anger was white hot and he wanted to go kill those assholes who thought they could harm this girl…his girl…his Omega.
The thought rushed through his head at 100 miles an hour but as he took in her scent again he knew. ‘Please don’t hurt me?’ She whispered, clearly nervous but unable to hide her interest in his scent as she leaned almost subconsciously closer to his neck.

‘Really? My family always thought it was annoying.’ She tried to play it off but he could see that it really bothered her.
‘I love it Omega, I want to hear it forever. You’re mine now, not theirs, whatever you want is yours.’ Klaus held his mate close and snuggled into the nest with her, drifting back to sleep fairly quickly, the both of them completely content for the first time in their lives.
