“So,” started Michael when he came to a stop just out of arm’s length from Alex. “Omega, huh? You ever planning on telling me about that?”
Alex tugged his lower lip between his teeth and shrugged.
“Honestly? I don’t know. I wanted to…I’ve wanted to tell you from the moment you first kissed me, I just…” He trailed off with a shake of his head as he glanced around the junkyard, trying to gather his thoughts. Michael, for once, didn’t push or jump to conclusions that would lead to an argument of some kind. He kept his distance, gave Alex the space he needed to think. “You said…we needed to have a talk? Right? Sunday, when I…”
“Randomly and unexpectedly became the single most irresistible thing on the planet to me?”
“It wasn’t random,” Alex glanced up. “I knew it was going to happen, it just happened sooner than it should have. I’ve been off my suppressants for a month. I was due for one.”
