sam and misa are in the same class but misa tries to keep to himself towards the back of the lecture hall he knows all abt sam and his gaggle of alpha friends who love sitting in front like theyre holding court

unbeknownst to misa but sam has noticed him since the beginning of the year and was determined to make him his god sam thought he was so adorable with his oversized sweaters and quarter zips and those cute little glasses perched on his nose and it didnt even matter that he was a beta sam could tell that his dynamic wouldnt matter as long as he got to know the pretty man and spend time with him

only when sam approached misa all cocky confident and sure of himself to ask him out misas alrdy turning him down and sam is stunned. no one not even betas have turned him down before

and misa is just so confused and admittedly a little hurt he knew those alphas up front were just your typical jock types but he didnt know that one of them would be so cruel as to ask him out as a joke

cue idiot alpha sam putting the pieces together and finally understanding his best friend’s weird behaviour, before immediately taking him back to the hotel and making sure misa knows sam only belongs to him

First season SPN where after being on the road with Dean for awhile, Sam notices he hasn't built a nest once. He's confused because Dean used to nest all the time when they were kids, and he's worried because he knows how important nesting is for hormone regulation in omegas, but every time he brings it up Dean just brushes him off. He comes to understand that the nests Dean used to make in the shitty motel rooms of their childhood weren't really for Dean; they were for Sam. Children with an omega parent need nests growing up, and in Mary's absence, Dean stepped up to the plate. So Sam starts to wonder how he can make Dean see nesting as something he does for himself, not others.

Then it turns out the whole time Dean was nesting, albeit he was doing it subconciously. His nest is just the Impala.

So John Winchester is an alpha. When his eldest son, Dean, presents as an omega he panics. An omega hunter is a target on two legs. John pressures Dean to cover up his gender, to pretend hes an alpha, to guard this secret with his life. Dean complies with fervor, sleeping with women and covering his scent and emulating his dad’s behaviors and being aggressive. Poor Sammy takes a lot of shit from Dean, but also Dean can only feel comfortable when he nests in their newest motel room and tucks his pup in safely. It’s the one time he indulges his instincts as an omega, protecting his precious pup.

That is, until Sam presents as an alpha.

Suddenly, Sammy isn’t just his pup, Sammy is an alpha. Dean can’t stand his pup being so much better than him, being the alpha dad needed Dean to be. So he gets more aggressive. Growls like an alpha, fucks like an alpha, forces Sam to submit to him over and over again.

Sam, on his part, only felt the urge to fight that first time, when his new instincts were stronger than ever before. But this is Dean, his big brother, his mother. So he submits. He bares his neck and allows Dean to drag him around by the scruff and follows his orders.

But John and Sam don’t get along anymore. Sam can suppress his alpha instincts with Dean, but not with his dad. Especially when Dad mistreats Dean and Sam suddenly feels like protecting his mate from a foreign alpha, even though thats his dad and brother. Arguments and pile up and eventually Sam leaves. He leaves his pack to go to Stanford, leave this toxic life, become an actual alpha away from his fucked up family.

But Dean, lost without his brotherpupmate, becomes more omega-like around his father. Submitting more easy, never defying orders. John finally gets a lead on yellow eyes, and knows that Dean is at risk. So Much Risk. So he leaves, and Dean runs back to Sam at Stanford. Sam can’t stand to leave Dean alone, knowing what he knows and Deans dark secret, so he agrees to help him find dad.

And then canon.

And Sam is slowly bitched out of his alpha-ness by Dean. Sam knows damn well what Dean is trying to do, but he knows that this is what Dean needs to do to feel better. So he submits, and it becomes second nature to him. In fact, the only time he feels like an alpha is when Dean is in danger.

Alpha Sam would be SO attuned to Omega Dean’s scent he would immediately know if somebody touched/scented him or was just too close and it causes. many problems

Huge fan of A/B/O supernatural where Dean walks into that motel room with Sam and Ruby and they both immediately freeze up, absolutely, undoubtedly sure he can scent it. Ruby knows they can’t hide it, so she’s scrambling for some explanation while standing in the doorway staring at Dean, jumping to the thought that their last hope is that he won’t realize it’s her.

But Dean so fucked up from hell that he’s not used to Sam’s scent anymore. His alpha should be able to pick up on the subtlest of differences, especially something like this, especially in another alpha he knows so well, but hell has dulled that, it’s dulled everything.

So miraculously, he doesn’t realize. Of course, the room is filled with the cloying sex scent, strong enough that even a beta like Bobby wrinkles his nose at it, but Dean just ignores the smell of sex and clasps Sam into a hug, not so much as blinking when Ruby causally makes her leave, her eyes locking with Sam’s in question and promise as she walks out the door.

It cracks something inside Sam that Dean can’t realize, it’s some fucked up physical manifestation of how badly hell has messed Dean up, but of course he is so relieved that Dean can’t tell yet. Maybe he’ll never be able to tell. Maybe Sam won’t ever have to admit to his big brother what he’s done.

But then when Dean does see them together again, and he’s not quite so jolted and messed up anymore, he knows.

And the accusation is not only: “You’re working with the demon.” It’s worse.

He turns to Sam, nearly in disbelief.

Dean’s mouth freezes, lips stuttering like he can’t believe the words he’s saying. His head turns back to Ruby, her name falling from his lips as a confirmation.

“Ruby.”

She nods, oddly still, defensive, cautious.

And Dean turns back to Sam, voice more strained than Sam has ever heard it.

“You mated her?”
