* ... all right. we've been at this for awhile now and it isn't really, uh.* well we're not exactly making a whole lot of progress here.* i don't know about you, but i'm pretty tired. howsabout we give it a rest for the day?

* that sure was enough excitement for a year.

BONUS; BATTLE THEME:Battle Against a Weak Enemy, from the EarthBound soundtrack. They're friends, and... I felt the wonky, kind of alien tune sort of suited Alphys' awkwardness when her anxiety gets her in a snag. It's hard to imagine these two fighting seriously, so!!! I chose a tame theme.
