In the headmaster's office the sun shone through the windows, bathing the office in a warm golden light. As for today something unheard of has happend. Silence. No chaos to be found anywhere in the academy. It was peaceful and quiet. Well, that was until a boy no younger than 9 came tumbling through his office out of nowhere with a mint green flash of light. "Ugggh, almost landed on my feet this time! Yaaaaay" the child groaned happily @storm-goodwitch
Ozpin had been enjoying the relative peace with a cup of cocoa and a stack of paperwork, humming to himself some old tune that he might play properly later that evening. He didn’t so much jump as startle when the boy made his sudden entrance, though the surprise didn’t last long.
Jumping up to his feet, he made his way around the desk to the child, crouching down to give him a quick check for any injuries.
“Did you come all the way up from the ground?”
Oh dear, his mother was going to have an absolute field day with his sudden disappearance but Ozpin couldn’t bring himself to reprimand his son for accomplishing something that was by all means remarkable. That said....it would mean that keeping track of him just got a lot more complicated.....
Regardless, Storm seemed no worse for wear, and for the moment Ozpin could only be proud as he scooped him up with quick a kiss to his forehead.
“Very impressive, I think this warrants a cookie while we let your Mother know where you’ve gone off to.”
Back to the desk, he plopped back down in his chair with the boy in his lap, taking note that he was getting a little big for it but so long as the child would allow it Ozpin would enjoy these moments while they lasted, removing a tin of chocolate biscuits from his desk drawer along with his scroll from his pocket.
“This is certainly a new record.”
