alright i finished hannibal and i‘m pretty sure this is gonna be a hot take

i loved the first season

and how they transitioned the story into season 2

at some point towards the end of season 2 the show became too pretentious for its own good and that lasted pretty much up until the end

to the point where i just wanted it to end i couldn’t wait to get through it

like there are very few things that could get me to watch this show ever again

the fact that every little thing had to be in-your-face symbolic was, one, annoying as fuck but also meant that like only two things were actually surprising -_-

but not the very end the very last bit of the season 3 finale was probably one of the best finales i’ve ever seen for a show

although come on they should’ve kissed like i do not ship it but my dude seriously ?!

but because the last like 5 mins were so fucking amazing and because of how it ended i don’t want a season 4 it would completely spoil it

i want to end on a high note - the music consistently fucking slapped
