on another note, i had a question as a v new phannie about dnp meeting! did they never talk about how, for lack of a better term, terrifying it was to meet up the way the did? like i'm 19 now. and i cannot physically IMAGINE going to my mom and saying "hey i've been talking to this 23yo guy over the internet. i'm gonna stay a weekend at his house" and her not immediately freaking out.

granted, i know it's a different, scarier stereotype of teenage girls and older guys, and OBVIOUSLY i am so happy dnp found the love of both of their lives, but i was just wondering if they ever talked about ANY kind of worry that idk they might like kill each other??

they've definitely joked about how the other one could be a murderer and phil did point out he met dan after he had already gotten catfished on myspace (x) but also since dan had graduated and was pretty independent financially with his job and was known to just go off on his own he really didn't need to tell his parents/ they probably didn't ask? it was also just very much A Thing you did at that time adsafsgkjds like meeting strangers off the internet in random places because no one taught us internet safety and we didn't know any better! so it was just kinda normal adasfsfjks
