Here is the design video my team and I made for Sheridan’s 2018 Fall Sprint Week. The challenge was to create a unique player experience using an alternate controller of your own creation. We made a puzzle box and wired all the inputs using a makey makey board. We are honored to have won the award for “Best Use of Space” and have our game shortlisted as top 10 out of the 45 amazing submissions!
Fewer and fewer new releases find their way into arcades these days. Even the latest version of Street Fighter, a series synonymous with the scene, ended up forgoing an official arcade cabinet having settled instead solely on the virtual arena of online multiplayer. Fortunately, there are still people trying to preserve the feeling of local co-op with new machines.
Would you look at these stunning cabinets! So nice to see the scene thriving!

Ahhh, thank you. I think I’ll stop stressing over it for now. I have most of what I want to say in hhh.
I keep editing the pages thinking “Yes... okay, this should be good.” and then come back to it 20 minutes later in a panic because I forgot something incredibly important.
Like right now.
This entire blog is a WIP, even when I am through editing code and shit. It sucks, lol.
