Cw: baby snake Pleiades (22): happy birthday and happy new years! Welcome our new baby corn snake, named Wilderness Poetry Mantle. Nicknames include Nessy, Nessa, Nesst, etc. We got her on Saturday January 4. That's just two days after I grew up from 12 to 22. Animals bring us so much delight and stability. Before getting her I don't think we'd actually held a snake before, let alone cared for one. Shoutout to @snake.discovery and @go_herping for making videos that teach us so much about snakes.
