I had a Cody’s dream ! I’m surprised, it has been a while.
We were five friends (1984 vibes) in a big strange house (BIG Murder House vibes) and Cody was tired, so he went to his room to take a nap, while I was staying with the others in the living room.
After like an hour, and too many spooky stories, I decide to check on him. For a second, I’m scared when I open his door, because in the dark, I think I see a decapitated head near the bed, but no, he’s fine, peacefully sleeping.
Because of the light, he opens his eyes and smiles at me. I ask if he’s alright, if he wants to sleep more. He looks at his phone and starts to watch a silly cartoon, telling me to stay.
I go in the bed with him, turning my back at him, because... I’m polite and it’s awkward. I guess he just want company. And I’m afraid because of the silly stories the others said. I’m ready to sleep, but he takes me in his arms, put his phone in front of me, we watch the cartoon together and...
That’s it. It was nice.
... I’m not sure what my brain wants to tell me with this one. I’ll go back to Loki now.
Carrot!!
The other day, I walked in to hear some of my freshmen shouting words like “carrot” and “Stalin” at a classmate. At this point in the year, I don’t have to verbalize my question. They know the look. They explained that they were trying to figure out their classmate’s “trigger word” because he’s a “Russian sleeper cell”.
I'm going to Fan Expo again this year! Friday and Saturday (I think). Hoping to meet Anthony Stuart Head and not embarrass myself this time lol.
