So for anyone that didn‘t catch this, KJ thanked everyone for prayers and says they are very grateful. Apparently Alyssa went through over 6 hours of surgery and another 4 of recovery, and it went well. But immediately after she was still very tired, had some pain and nausea, so the doctors gave her more pain and nausea meds. John stayed in the hospital with her, and apparently the surgeon told him that he felt he was hopeful that he had gotten the right spot this time, so they were hopeful this will solve the problem, and KJ then asks for continued prayers for her recovery. It looks like KJ and Gil and Callie were in Florida for the surgery, and at the hospital until after she woke up.
