Something that I totally and completely take for granted is the ability to go to a doctor, be prescribed something, and have that something well and truly subsidised by the government so that it is completely affordable. the extractions were necessary. the whole process of a dental was explained to them during the consultation. extractions and extensive/difficult extractions were literal line items on their fucking estimate. which they SIGNED, along with all consent forms.
this is already on top of this doctor losing both her dogs in the past 6 months (1 of which was literally a week ago tomorrow).
genuinely thinking that we're just going to have to explain these things to people like they're 5 fucking years old.
