// may 🌹 - this month i was inspired by amandarachlee’s animal crossing theme to try some bold colours myself. my drawing skills may be lacking, but i think it turned out reasonably well! in terms of studying i haven’t had much to do because my exams were cancelled, so i’ve decided to try and get ahead on some of my a level courses.
12.04.21 | I like how serene these weekly spreads look inspired by Amanda Rach Lee. Finally using weekly spreads with its full potential. Before now I was always afraid to create them with fear of leaving them empty. But empty things have values too.
24.05.21 | Final weeks of May. Enchanted doors and its inspiration. This (month) has been real journey, appreciating the places we live and the little secrets hidden in them.
Hello, June! 🦋
I’m sure you’ve seen this design by IG amandarachlee. I chose it for this month because at this moment I am in the midst of emerging. That is actually my word for the year!
I have to admit I am surprised I have made such strides toward that goal. My emergence goes beyond the pandemic. For the past 6 years I have been battling CPTSD, which was accompanied by severe agoraphobia. I consider myself in the early stages of recovery from the agoraphobia. I’ve considered sharing my journey. Let me know if you’d be interested in hearing my story.
This theme is also special to me right now because yesterday we finally had a memorial ceremony to celebrate the life of our beloved pet, Jane Marie Fonda. We lost Jane as the pandemic had just hit and I muted my grief. I saw what was happening in other countries before we knew it was in the US, I knew we were facing massive human loss, and I both felt I couldn’t fall apart with the insanity we were about to enter and take up space for those mourning their parents, siblings, etc. I saw a friend of mine who got a butterfly raising kit and I remembered how much I enjoyed doing it ~13 years ago. We called Jane “Janie bug” (derived from lady bug 🐞, but still) and it just seemed a perfectly lovely idea to raise these butterflies and release them at our favorite local spot while we had a small ceremony. It turned out to be everything Jane deserved and more. It was very, very special.
Join me in honoring our past, the struggles and loss we’ve experienced, and look toward the sun for a new day. Chapter 6/12. Let’s go. ✨

my rendition of amandarachlee's sep bujo 💜
22.09.2020
My favorite bullet journaling youtuber AmandaRachLee has a new skill share class (Art Journaling for Self Care: 3 Exercises for Reflection and Growth) and this was my outcome for the first exercise. It was lots of fun and very therapeutic, the 'art journaling' feel and white pen on brown scrap paper is a vibe. I don't have a lot of supplies but I made do with what I had :)

Just started my digital bujo. I followed amanda's january setup and it was easier than i thought 😬 and a good thing about it being all digital; i can just copy& paste the little drawings 👹👹
