Leonard's reaction to seeing Klein interact with Emperor Roselle. The great figure he's grown up hearing about, he's read and memorized half the man's poetry.

Plus THE FUCKING EVERNIGHT GODDESS. Leonard fucking grew up in her church. Sure he was never like the MOST devout churchgoer, but STILL.

And then Klein yells at Roselle for trying to flirt with Melissa. And Amani shamelessly tries to cheat at Mario cart.

I'm so normal about Amanises anyway picture me this:

Amanises who was an angel of a pathway with a mad god on top

Amanises who clung to her humanity to her personality to her sanity to everything that made her her and not the goddess of misfortune

Amanises who saw this thing demand destruction and annihilation and she had no choice but to obey

Amanises who found other not quite like her but enough to ease the loneliness in her heart

Amanises who constantly had to deal with Flegrea's spawns trying to usurp her

Amanises who finally gets to kill that beast. Amanises who no longer has to suffer the mad ravings of that dog. Amanises who finally has a moment of respite. Amanises who stands on top of the cold dead body of that thing, that dog, that beast that did nothing but cause her misery.

Amanises who fashions herself a goddess of tranquility and peace and slumber. Amanises who is ultimately still the Goddess of Misfortune. Because you don't come out of something like what she experienced with your sanity and morals fully in tact.

Praise be the Empress of Misfortune and Horror. Praise be the Mistress of Repose and Silence. Praise be to her whose schemes were eternally concealed. Praise be to her who still remembers the era that has long faded from memory.

You know how Klein rejects Amon as his Nephew? 

Well, I’ve been thinking about an AU where Amanises and Roselle bully Klein into calling them his siblings. They basically go, “Fine, I’ll do it myself,” and give Klein some people to call home.

(It’s an interesting au, so bear with my English, please!)

Roselle and Klein would have that “and let my brother die in a ditch” rivalry, lol. They’d constantly argue over Chinese cuisine—over the “right way” to eat cultural dishes, over the proper to celebrate some long gone holiday. Klein would tease Roselle by quoting his diary, and Roselle would embarrass him back by reminding him of his alts. 

Amanises would be the quiet, ‘absolutely decimates you in video games’ sibling. She’d go to Klein just to demand historical projections to play on. She’d sit back and watch Klein and Roselle humiliate themselves like they’re daily television (She enjoys seeing them like that, in that fond sort of exasperation one has for their loved ones; and she might quietly fan the flames, but she’ll never let them know that). Probably endearingly call Klein her “darling brother” to see him sputter. On the side, she’d put the fear of God into them with a slight smile or two; very fitting as the ‘older sister’.

and you know? When both Amanises and Klein start feeling the effects of godhood, they could add themselves in each other’s religious cannons and share believers :)

Adam would be the politely unwanted family member who’s still invited for thanks giving. Amon would be the very vocally unwanted family member who hitches a ride on him.
