It's been a great week, and only getting better.

I'm so close to finishing 2 chapters of Whimsical World.

Progress is being made on the next Prize Fighter chapter.

I'm going on a date with my female partner today. Going to an interactive art exhibit and dinner. She's going through it this month and I wanna show her some extra love and support.

I get to meet my male partner's FWB Friday, which is pretty dope. I'm excited to meet them finally!

I'm trying to switch between Whimsical World and Prize Fighter every other chapter. It's just how I keep my brain engaged. Prize Fighter is a special challenge for me, though. The characters are still new, and it's heavy romance, which isn't something I often have front and center in my stories.

What's your favourite thing about writing historical fiction? What drew you to it

I think it's because I love urban fantasy so much? Like Pandora, my first writing endeavor is set in the future with vampiers and elves.

I just think it's fun to magic up our history.
