Hello. I have a few quick questions about the Inverse!AU because I got to the one chapter where you explain how Aftershock works.

In the Inverse!AU, would Jesse still get Aftershock? If so, would Jesse potentially learn it from channeling Amber instead of Earth? How would Aftershock power up Amber? What would the implications be for Ambermagic!?

If so, would Jesse potentially learn it from channeling Amber instead of Earth? <- Yes, I like this idea!!! Thoooough I wonder if Jesse would name it something else in this case ~ambermagic~ cuz it's 'magic from amber'?lmfao

How would Aftershock power up Amber? <- Theoretically it could either enhance Amber's ability to mimic other elements (perhaps allowing Skylor to use NRG Abilities on top of the Elemental Abilities) or even give Skylor the ability to utilize more than two elements at once ignoring Blue Crystal loophole

What would the implications be for Ambermagic!? <- *I* think it would be very cute if instead of ~dancing~ Jesse and Skylor are training with each other and it dissolves into them just goofing around but Skylor gets the uperhand in the skirmish and Jesse trips in typical Jesse fashion but Skylor catches him before he can hit the ground and yet an impact ripples out anyway!!! and they both feel it!!! And Skylor pulls Jesse back up to his feet and they realize they're holding hands and yet don't let go!!! and they're lost in the moment!!! but because Garmadon is a little more vocal about the inner workings of their elements during his teachings (and I'm sure they've gotten some info from Mystake) they're able to pie together what happened from context clues instead of a pure guess lol so they get back to training to invoke it again and this time its even bigger and effective and Skylor gets to feel the full potential of an element and she's never felt more alive and probably hugs Jesse out of excitement or something and like I said its just very cute and they get to be happy about the discovery TOGETHER and look forward to working together more to develop the skill (and their relationship *swoosh*)

I practice a mix of general heathenry. While I primarily practice Anglo Saxon/ Dutch/ general North Sea sort of paganism (as that is where the majority of my ancestry is from), I also incorporate a large amount of norse elements into my craft mostly because of lack of documentation of distinct Germanic pre Christian practices, and will usually refer to the Gods by their Norse names for convenience.

I am trying to learn history, mythology, and culture alongside magical practices of Norse, Anglo Saxon, and Dutch communities before Christianity. If anyone is reading a particularly interesting book or article, please send it my way!

I have been practicing on and off for about a decade, but recently I have rededicated myself to my craft. I am always looking for more witchy people of all types to learn from and befriend.

I love to spend time in the forests and the mountains and tinkering around with natural materials. I really like learning about homesteading, and I want to have a big garden and chickens someday!! I might occasionally reblog about these topics, but I try to keep this blog to strictly witchy and pagan stuff.

I am a philosophy major, I love classic lit, gardening, baking, and most winter sports. I am kind of shy, but I try my best to be friendly!

I'm slightly curious about Ambermagic but asking about it is s4 spoilers sooo I'm going to ask about the Inverse Au instead.

How does Inverse!Ambermagic start off? How do they met for the first time? What captures their interest in each other? Who falls in first? How do they realize their feelings? How do they get together?

Ambermagic is like the one thing about S4 that talking about it doesn’t ruin anything lol— Jesse has a temporary interest in Skylor, but both of them quickly realize that their hearts lie elsewhere/they’re better off as friends. Whether or not a What If with them gets explored in the dr future remains to be seen

As for inverse!au:

How does Inverse!Ambermagic start off? <- same way Aftershock does, Jesse finds his way to the monastery after getting his powers for the first time and witnesses a strong and kind ninja with orange eyes training in the courtyard

How do they met for the first time? <- if Jesse’s role is unchanged then they wouldn’t meet until the later events of S2 (as Skylor wouldn’t be a student for Jesse to swoon over at school) but if Jesse becomes a ninja sooner then it’s the age old story of an OC dropping from nowhere and immediately catching a main character’s eye lol

What captures their interest in each other? <- Jesse Has A Type while Skylor is easily swept in by their shared knowledge of cooking food, and further taken in by stage presence and ability to flirt (things that are unhindered by Jesse’s need to mask his own personality and/or no love rival to contend with lol)

Who falls in first? <- still Jesse rip. Skylor doesn’t take long to follow

How do they realize their feelings? <- they realize their feelings run deeper than they thought via the passionate thoes of battle!!!!

How do they get together? <- “hey would you like to date me?” “I would like that actually :)” *bam confetti and no several book-long slow burn wheeeee*
