I practice norse paganism/ heathenry/ general Germanic pre Christian paganism.
I also enjoy learning about crafts and practices of old, such as weaving, hunting/ tanning, navigating by the stars/ with the sun, and pretty much anything related to homesteading.
(I hate weird white supremacist Norse pagans. This is not a safe space for you freaks)
More stuff below the break ⬇️
I practice a mix of general heathenry. While I primarily practice Anglo Saxon/ Dutch/ general North Sea sort of paganism (as that is where the majority of my ancestry is from), I also incorporate a large amount of norse elements into my craft mostly because of lack of documentation of distinct Germanic pre Christian practices, and will usually refer to the Gods by their Norse names for convenience.
I am trying to learn history, mythology, and culture alongside magical practices of Norse, Anglo Saxon, and Dutch communities before Christianity. If anyone is reading a particularly interesting book or article, please send it my way!
I have been practicing on and off for about a decade, but recently I have rededicated myself to my craft. I am always looking for more witchy people of all types to learn from and befriend.
I love to spend time in the forests and the mountains and tinkering around with natural materials. I really like learning about homesteading, and I want to have a big garden and chickens someday!! I might occasionally reblog about these topics, but I try to keep this blog to strictly witchy and pagan stuff.
I am a philosophy major, I love classic lit, gardening, baking, and most winter sports. I am kind of shy, but I try my best to be friendly!

The thing we all have to understand is that anti-paganism and anti-animism are so often rooted in racism. Tell me why you call it "savage" and "primitive". Tell me exactly what you think is lesser about building a connection with the Earth. Tell me why you want religion to be organized and to have someone in charge—who do you think is in charge? What are they saying? Who are they saying it to? Who put them in charge? These things all came from somewhere
🕯️ A flaming chalice of herbs for the summer solstice, lit under the stars in the night of the longest day. May good health, good luck, and good fortune come to you 🕯️
As much as I am preparing to be a good pagan and celebrate the summer solstice, I can’t help but wistfully dream of when everything around me is covered in a blanket of snow. I want frost and holly leaves and snow crocus 😭 I am trying my best to find the beauty and joy and magic in the summer time, but wow it sure is hot
Finally back with my feet somewhat on the ground after a big move. Taking some time to start rebuilding my practice, I had to get rid of the majority of my materials as I simply did not have the space to bring them :( tonight I am refurbishing my handmade rune stone set and lighting a candle and setting some simple intentions for the waxing moon. I miss doing large offerings and more complicated spells and rituals, but this will have to do for tonight.
