My WIP of Coburn, my tiefling.

Spent like, 5 hours on this, and this is what I've got so far and 3 on a different day. You're looking at an entire work day worth of art. Definently the longest it's ever taken, but I guess with progress comes time? Idk.

I've stared off at the ocean before. It's a calling, a demand, a need. I have a fear of the ocean. I am afraid of the idea of something so deep, so vast.

So full of life but somehow, simultaneously, so void. I am afraid of how much of it is unknown, how much of it there is.

I am afraid of how quiet and how loud it can be. I'm afraid of how beautiful it is, how deadly it can be. I fear that if I jump in, I may never return; at least, not the same.

That when I came up for air, the world around me will have changed. Everything different. Everything new.

As I stare off into the glistening water that calls my name, my real name, the one that only it knows. I can't help but wonder.

Am I afraid of the ocean?

Or, am I simply afraid of myself.

Think of the most embarrassing thing you could possibly do.

Think of the thing that if it happened in front of me, you'd die of embarrassment.

Think of something about you that you never want me to see.

Now, know that I don't care. I won't think less of you. No matter what. I couldn't care less if something happens while you're sick, I'll take care of you. I don't care if you break something, I'll clean it up. I don't care if you get bodily fluid of any kind on me, I know you didn't mean to; I'll clean it up after I help you however I can. I don't care if you have dirty feet or haven't washed your clothes- I'll clean them for you. I don't mind if your voice is hoarse, or your nose is runny, or you have gas, or cramps, or pain, or the giggles, or if you're tipsy, or if you're too tired to talk. I won't get mad at you for things you can't control. I won't be upset that you're overwhelmed, stressed, crying, screaming, or going for a walk to cool off. I won't get mad at you for having feelings. I'll never get mad at you for having Human emotions.

I promise.
