The idea of “running something like the navy” is so funny to me as an American cuz over here the main stereotype about the navy is that everyone in it is really gay and horny.
Every time someone says something about running something like the navy all it sounds like to me is that they’re gonna run it in a very horny and homosexual fashion.
Yes king, run that Best Buy like the navy! Make your employees kiss in the storage room!
Listening to the 5-part Princess Diana series of "you're wrong about" podcast and then watching the Meghan and Harry Oprah interview is so interesting and sad. The amount of parellels and the way social media has just exploded a similar scenario is mind blowing.
Also just to gush, Meghan and Harry are so cute and seem so supportive of each other and happy together and it's so good to see them happy. I love that they decided their mental health and well being was a top priority and needed to be placed above the toxic traditions and structures surrounding the Royal Family. She's seriously gone through so much and I'm so happy for her that they got through it. I'm so happy that meeting Meghan and seeing all the tabloid coverage of her and their relationship made Harry realize his own biases and the biases and prejudices he grew up around and that he's doing the work to be better. And also there's literally nothing more attractive than a man who goes to therapy. I'm so happy for Meghan that she's gotten her freedom back! Having to ask to get help, and not having your keys, license, passport, etc is such a removal of agency that's unimaginable to me.
I love the Fourth of July because I’m a patriotic American who loves everything this country is SUPPOSED to stand for (in a woke way) and I’m happy for our 250th birthday
However at the same time it’s under the worst administration ever, and they’re being so insufferable about it that it makes being patriotic feel wrong. Also our government is a piece of shit in general.
Anyways, fireworks!
As an American I wanna learn about other cultures (specifically Igbo and telugu) but it’s hard getting into it when your country doesn’t even teach you about its own history, anyway new hp fic dropping soon
Hey Tumblr. What is a Sharia Law? Like, does anyone actually know what laws fall under that title? Like, an Actual real exact law that is an example of Sharia Law? Like, I know its ‘divine law inspired by the Koran’, but name one of those laws. I bet no american can name a single one.
So, I propose that unless you are one of those people who know Sharia Laws, how about you don’t talk about Sharia Law. Because you are, like me, not informed enough to make judgments about it
So, Irish people somehow found my videos talking about my trip to Ireland last year and the comments are cute. Most of them keep saying some variation of “Wow, this chick actually gets our culture.”
The world is smaller than you think.
