The Monsters of Canberry Wilderness: On November 25th of 1954, the warden of the Mill Point Federal Prison, located in the Monongahela National Park, adjacent to the Cranberry Glades of West Virginia, wrote a concerned memo to the federal government over concerns he had regarding "giant hairy Indians", which his security guards had reported seeing circling the minimum security prison at the edges of the forest at night. The inmates were horrified by the nightly howls and screams issuing out of the forests. Reportedly, no prisoner would even remotely consider escaping into the surrounding wilderness for fear of the monsters beyond the fence. The prison was subsequently closed, and all the buildings were demolished in 1959. The Lummi Police & Bigfoot: On November 14th of 1975, several police officers confirmed what residents living around the Lummi Indian Reservation had been saying her years... they had seen large hairy giants living in the dense forests around the reservation in Bellingham, Washington. The Provo Canyon Encounter: On November 3rd of 2012, footage hit the media of an alleged Bigfoot encounter in Utah. Bigfoot and the Silver Fox: On October 23rd of 1975, 74-year-old Emma Smith called the police to report that a huge hairy man had been peeping in her windows, and had attempted to break in to "get at her". Sgt. Cooper of the Lummi National Indian Reservation arrived at her house at 2:30am, and found a large gathering of Emma's neighbors shining at light on a 7.5 foot tall hairy creature stand in the woods nearby. The Sargent raised his shotgun at the wildman, but as soon as he did, more noises started erupting out of the woods all around them. The Patterson Gimlin Footage: If you have ever seen anything to do with Bigfoot, you've undoubtedly seen the choppy clip of film shot by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin on October 20th of 1967. The two men were exploring the Bluff Creek area of Northern California looking for proof of Sasquatch in order to complete a nature film on the subject. Patterson had recieved an advance payment on the creation of the film, but time was running out. He needed his money shot... enter Bigfoot. With the release of this tiny snippet of film, the image of an unknown bipedal humanoid creature became crystallized in the imagination of the world. Those that wish to argue the authenticity of this film need look no further than a sketch drawn by Roger Patterson himself, which appeared in a book that he published a whole year before the suposed sighting took place. If you don't think that the costume, and action, captured on that film look striking similar to Patterson's sketch, I have to question your critical thinking.
