Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy
Amerzone is a first-person fantasy graphic adventure game published by Microïds and designed by Benoît Sokal, who based it on his 1986 Inspector Canardo comic strip L'Amerzone.
You are a journalist summoned by an aged explorer who has been "branded" with questionable credibility for over 50 years.
The old explorer's tale tells of traveling to the mysterious Central American country, called Amerzone.
His story claims that the large egg that he brought back was associated with native Indian tribal beliefs and rituals involving the proliferation of great white birds that fly continuously from the time that they are born and never land seems incredible.
But curiosity and the opportunity for a good story will probably get the best of you...
The Amerzone Easter Egg!
I’m playing Amerzone for the first time. I have played Syberia 1,2 &3 and Sinking Island. I love Benoit Sokal’s games for the beautiful scenery and whimsical steampunk contraptions. Even though Amerzone was the first of his games and the graphics are a bit grainier than we at accustomed to, it is still beautiful. ❤️
