So on my blog theme there is a little navbar on the right with one of the buttons linking to a page with all my patterns, but tumblr mobile doesn’t like custom pages so I understand it is difficult for mobile users to see an entire list of all my patterns, so I’ve made this post here. I’ll try to keep this updated and reblog it whenever it starts getting buried, but hopefully it works out for those of you who like to use the tumblr app.

Here is the Edward Elric doll pattern! He is somewhat difficult. You'll need a bit extra needlework compared to my other patterns. The braid may be difficult for beginner doll-makers unfamiliar with how hair works on crocheted dolls. He comes out to be about 6.5 inches, or 16.5 cm. Pattern is in the Read More. (Photo only)

Front Part of Black Jacket
(make two)
Using Black
R1: Ch 5, turn, SC in second chain from hook and SC across, ch and turn (4)
R2: SC across, ch and turn (4)
R3: SC across (4)
Fasten off. Now, using White, attach to the row you just finished and SC around three sides of the black square you just made. When you reach a corner, ch and SC into the next side. After making two of these, sew the side not bordered with white to the body so that the white you crocheted on the body connects to these squares you made. Use a bit of Grey yarn to stitch the two at one point in the middle between the two squares. (I’m sorry this is a horrible explanation. Please look at the pictures for reference and you are always welcome to ask me.)
Legs (make 2)
Using Black
R1: 7 SC in a magic circle (7)
R2-R4: SC around (7)
Fasten off.

R13: SC in next 2 SC, ch and turn (2)
R14-R19: SC across, ch and turn (2)
R20: SC across (4)
Fasten off.
Work the left forepart and sleeve the same as the right, starting from the other end.
Middle part
Attach to third open SC from the forepart
R8: SC in next 8 SC, ch and turn (8) (There will be 2 open SC on each side of this part)
R9-R11: SC across, ch and turn (8)
R12: SC across (8)
Fasten off.
Curl Rows 13-20 from the sleeve part to make the sleeve and sew to the bottom and middle part. This may be a bit weird because I’m not sure I’ve seen people make jackets or coats like this and I was too focused on trying to make a decent looking coat that I didn’t take pictures along the way. Please ask if you have any questions regarding the coat, or just make your own if that is easier.
Stitch on the insignia on the back with black embroidery thread. Here is a close-up of mine. It's not the best looking honestly...
Putting it together
I started with sewing the body to the head, then the arms and legs. Make sure to stuff everything.
Hair
I used a piece of cardboard about 5 inches or 12.5 cm long and wrapped the yellow yarn around it to make a lot of yellow strands the same length. This is longer than it needs to be, but you can cut and trim later. Using a smaller hook, attach hair by inserting hook into a stitch in the head where you want the strand to come from, fold the strand in half and pull it through the stitch, take the ends of the strand and thread it through the hole made at the loop and pull. Sorry if that didn’t make much sense. You may be better off consulting another tutorial on attaching hair. Making a braid look right on a doll may require some experimentation if you are not familiar with it.
Here is the pattern for the Mako Mori doll! This is not a difficult doll. No extra clothing or particularly weird color changes. Hair is not too difficult as well. As usual, the pattern is under the Read More. Let me know if you see any mistakes or have a question. (Photo only)

Putting it together
I started with sewing the body to the head, then the arms and legs. Make sure to stuff everything.
Hair
I used a piece of cardboard about 4 inches or 10 cm long and wrapped the black yarn around it to make a lot of black strands the same length. This is longer than it needs to be, but you can cut and trim later. Also cut two strands of blue yarn the same. Put one strand of blue hair on each side of her hair.
Here is the pattern for Haku or Nigihayami Kohaku Nishi from Spirited Away. The hardest part about this pattern is definitely the robe. Everything else is not too difficult as long as you can change colors comfortably and attach hair. The robe is kind of tricky and is difficult to explain, but I tried. Click Read More for the pattern. (Photo only)

Now in the second round where you crocheted only in the back loops, SC in each of the 3 front loops that are sticking out to create the toes. Weave in loose ends.
Pant Legs
(make 2)
Using Turquoise
R1: Ch 9, slip stitch into first ch, ch 1, SC around (9)
R2: SC around (9)
R3: take one leg and pull the pant leg so far onto it. You will be SC around, but when you first put your hook into the stitch, also put your hook through one of the SC in the last row of the leg. Because the pant leg is 9 SC and the leg is 6, you will need to *put hook through pant leg stitch and leg stitch, SC, put hook through next pant leg stitch and next leg stitch, SC, put hook through next pant leg stitch but same leg stitch as before, SC* three times. If this is much too confusing, just sew the pant legs over the legs after sewing the legs to the body.
White Robe Thing
Using White
(make 2)
R1: Ch 9, SC in second chain from hook and SC across, ch and turn (8)
R2-R10: SC across, ch and turn (8)
R11: SC across (8)
(this is where it gets really weird, I’m so sorry)
R12: Ch 19, turn, SC in second ch from hook and continue until you have 14 SC and 4 ch left, ch and turn (14)
R13: SC across (14)
Fasten off. You’re going to need to put the body together before putting this together.
Putting it together
I started with sewing the body to the head, then the arms and legs/pant legs. Make sure to stuff everything.
Ok, now for the robe thing. Haku has slits in his robe where the shoulders are, so you are going to curl Rows 12-13 around all the way past the 4 chains in Row 12. Sew together that part to make the circle of the sleeve. Now sew the sleeve to the main part and then the other side of the sleeve to the other main part you made. (I’m so sorry this is a horrible explanation, but I didn’t take pictures). Then do the same on the other side, but before sewing the sleeve to the main parts, put the robe on Haku. Tie some grey yarn around his body to make his belt/slash thing.
For his sandals, stitch on the top part of the sandals with grey yarn onto the toes, then cut out the shape of the sole of the feet with grey or white felt and glue/stitch it on.
Hair
I used a piece of cardboard about 4 inches or 10 cm long and wrapped the black yarn around it to make a lot of black strands the same length. This is longer than it needs to be, but you can cut and trim later.
Here is the pattern for my Katniss Everdeen doll. The crocheting part itself is not too difficult I think, but the hair might be a bit difficult to get a nice-looking braid and the bow and arrow can be a bit tedious to make. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns with the pattern. Here is the post with just the photoset.
Materials:
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver's Aran, Black, (Foresty?) Green, Brown, Red
Crochet Hook size G
Yarn Needle
15 mm black eyes
Stuffing
About a foot of thin wire for the bow, or 6 inches of thick wire
Toothpicks for the arrows
Black paper or index card to make the arrow ends
Joining rounds is optional unless specified.
Head
Using Aran
R1: 6 SC in a magic circle. (6)

Jacket
Using Black
R1: Ch 21, SC in second chain from hook and SC across, ch and turn (20)
R2-R3: SC across, ch and turn (20)
Right forepart and sleeve
R4: SC in next 4 SC, ch 3 (4 and 4 ch)
R5: SC in second ch from hook, SC in remaining ch, SC in next 4 SC, ch and turn (7)
R6-R8: SC across, ch and turn (7)
R9: SC in next 3 SC, ch and turn (3)
R11-R15: SC across, ch and turn (3)
R16: SC across (2)
Fasten off.
Work the left forepart and sleeve the same as the right, starting from the other end.
Middle part
Attach to third open SC from the forepart
R4: SC in next 8 SC, ch and turn (8) (There will be 2 open SC on each side of this part)
R6-R7: SC across, ch and turn (8)
R8: SC across (8)
Fasten off.
Curl Rows 9-16 from the sleeve part to make the sleeve and sew to the bottom and middle part. This may be a bit weird but it shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out. If you do have questions, just ask.
Fold the collar part of the jacket back and sew into place, then embroider on a red line down the inside with red yarn so that it’s visible at the folded collar and slightly peeking through the rest.
Arrow Bag (Join rounds for this one)
Using Black
R1: 5 SC in a magic circle (5)
R2: 2 SC in each SC (10)
R3: SC around in back loops only (10)
R4-R10: SC around (10)
After joining Round 10, chain 22.
Fasten off and attach the end of the chain to the bottom of the bag.
Putting it together
I started with sewing the body to the head, then the arms and legs. Make sure to stuff everything. The coat is removable.
Making the bow
You can make the bow however you want, but I'll just try to explain how I did it. I took my wire and folded it in half and twisted them around each other. I made it into a shape of a bow, and cut off the ends to make it the perfect size. I took black yarn and started wrapping it around the twisted wire from one end, I tripled over the middle part to make it thicker, then when I got to the end I strung it across and tied it and glued it to the other side. Sorry if that was a bit confusing. If you have thicker wire, you may not need to double it.
Making the arrows
I made a set of ten arrows, so that required ten toothpicks. I used sharpie to make them black, but you can do whatever to make them black. I then took little pieces of index card (about a 1 cm x 1 cm square) and folded them into triangle things to stick on the ends of the arrows. I know this is very vague but you can do whatever you want to make the ends.
Hair
I used a piece of cardboard about 7 inches or 17.5 cm long and wrapped the brown yarn around it to make a lot of brown strands the same length. Do not attach too much hair or it will be impossible to braid. The way I did it was, covered the top part of the head with enough to cover any holes, but most of those are used for the bangs so do not go into the braid. Next, I bordered the hairline with strands of hair and used these and some of the top pieces to braid. The braid might be messy, but no one has time to be checking for a perfect braid during the Hunger Games so it’s okay. Trim hair as needed. You can tie the braid with either a small rubber band or take some brown yarn and tie it securely, then trim it so it looks like part of the end of the braid.
So here is my pattern for Charles Xavier (Professor X) and Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) from X-Men First Class. Click Read More for it.
Here is the post with just pictures.
Since these two were so similar in design, I am making them one pattern, with Charles as the main pattern. Anything in {} indicates a certain row or instruction for Erik that replaces the instruction for Charles. Anything in [] indicates a row or instruction being added for Erik. I’ll also include notes for each part that has a difference in design.
Don't mind the toothpicks I used to help prop the dolls up for the photos.
Tips: Make sure you are very comfortable with color-changing, because this pattern requires three colors for the body, and there is a lot of changing going on.
As usual, let me know if you have any questions or notice a mistake!

R13: SC across, ch and turn (26)
R14: SC across, fasten off. (26)
Start new yarn on hook. Ch 4, and attach to a side of R14
R15: SC across, ch 5 and turn (26 SC and 9 ch)
R16: SC from second ch from hook and SC across, all the way to the end of the chain on the other side (34)
Take the wire and work the next row over this wire.
R17: SC across.
Fasten off.
The wire should be sticking out from each side, so just bend it toward the inside. You can also cut it, but this way will probably prevent more injuries.
The helmet is not quite done.
On the helmet which will be above the eyes, there are 10 SC spaces. Starting from the 3rd space, attach yarn and work the next few rows as such:
R12: SC in next 6 SC, ch and turn (6)
R13: DEC over next 2 SC, SC in next 2 SC, DEC over next 2 SC (4)
R14: *DEC over next 2 SC* twice (2)
R15: DEC over next 2 SC (1)
Fasten off.
Putting it together. I sewed the body to the head, then the arms and legs. Make sure to stuff everything. After attaching the hair on Erik, make sure the helmet fits on nicely.

Cut a few strands of the yarn, separate them into 4 separate strands (if you are using Red Heart Super Saver), fold them in half and thread the folded part through the end and pull the edges through the loop. I used three full strands on each end. Trim to appropriate length.
Putting it together
I started with sewing the body to the head, then the arms and legs. Make sure to stuff everything. Tie the scarf around his neck as Sherlock usually does. The coat is removable.
Hair
I used a piece of cardboard about 4 inches or 10 cm long and wrapped the brown yarn around it to make a lot of brown strands the same length. This is longer than it needs to be, but you can cut and trim later. Pull apart the strands into separate thinner strands. If you are using Red Heart Super Saver, there should be four thin strands.
Here is the pattern for Merlin for Day 5 of my Seven Days of Patterns. The scarf was the most difficult part of this one, and I think it's the best I could with yarn. You are of course welcome to just use a piece of cloth and tie it around his neck instead. Click Read More for the full pattern with pictures.

Putting it together
I started with sewing the body to the head, then the arms and legs. Make sure to stuff everything. Take a bit of dark brown yarn and attach it around his waist-area (about two rows above where the shirt and pants meet) and have one end dangle a bit. Wrap the scarf around the neck and sew to the other end behind Merlin’s head. The coat is removable.
