I'm obsessed. Damien and Amma have my whole heart! I do not understand why these books are not being talked about more. It's so funny and I love that even though it's funny it still has a darker tone to it. All of the side characters have been fun as well.

Anomalous knowing Damien for years and just refusing to believe he's a blood mage took me out. And Damien insisting he will just kill Amma to get the talisman back when he needs it, while actively dragging her around on a side quest to save her life but refusing to tell her that's what they're doing. Is "I don't want to kill her but I don't want her to know I don't want to kill her" a trope?

And Damien and Kaz glaring at each other anytime either one of them is nice to Amma. The part when they are fighting the werewolves, the elves pretending to be ghosts in the woods! Omg and Damien's demon father being a genuinely good and supportive dad. 😭😭😭

There is just so much to love. I could go on and on. Can't wait to finish it just so I can start the next book
