Thancred Waters sure was an interesting name to go along with an interesting face.
He wasn’t a bad face to look at, not at all. He was some years older than Claude himself, short white hair that matched his grey eyes well. Those grey eyes seemed to hide a story that went along with him, but the young heir would just have to pick at that brain of his as time went on. Right now, the two of them sat in a shady looking pub together, simply people watching.
( ‘people watching’; more like eavesdropping, but they wouldn’t admit that out loud. )
“I didn’t think I’d be spending my afternoon in a place like this, but at least the company is good.”
He took a sip of his drink, making a slight face at it. It wasn’t that it was strong, for he could handle the taste of strong alcohol more than most nobles can; it just didn’t taste all that good to him, even by cheap alcohol standards. He shook his head at it for now, verdant hues watching the man in front of him. Truthfully, he was more interested in him than he was in the atmosphere around them.
“Something tells me this is a usual day for you. Am I right, or am I super right?”
