due to a strange wraparound paradox, all religions are technically correct. the creator god, Amnia, technically of the domain of "life", did, in fact, create other gods and also life in general. however, a part of Amnia's gift of creation was planted into all living beings, a sort of thoughtform manifestation that results in things like the fire-breathing cassowaries outside of Eidica. after all this, Amnia would then become the sun, never to return... allegedly. there's a... problem. all gods (as well as monsters) are thoughtforms created from the collective belief of humans. there are, potentially, a billion different gods in the world - ancestral spirits turned divine, concepts personified, and even straight-up actual gods (as seen in Biwako-no-Mikoto, protector god of Fuugami). truth is, Amnia doesn't appear in texts until decades after aer vanishing was supposed to have taken place. if Amnia never existed until humanity believed in aem enough, but at the same time, was supposed to have created humanity... well, is the world Amnia's fantasy, or the humans'?
