I didn’t read a huge amount this month, which didn’t surprise me. My commitments have increased, so I’m just happy I managed to read this much. * * Best book: After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid ~ 5🌟 This was easily my favourite book of the month, I was so surprised to love this one! I was apprehensive about reading a book about a marriage breakdown, since that’s what I deal day in day out, but I just couldn’t put this down. Also, I had to stop myself from crying at work over lunch while finishing this, which was super embarrassing! 😂 * * Honourable mention: I listened to the audiobook of Emma, and Emma Thompson’s narration combined with the whole production was sublime - highly recommend! * * Worst book: The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory ~ 2.5🌟 I was really disappointed by this one, I didn’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as Guillory’s first book. It’s great to see diverse characters in romance, but the writing quality was poor and the story itself was cliched. * * Not pictured: One in a Million by Lindsey Kelk and The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory - these were both ebook reads. . . . #AmpersandFeb19 | Wrap-up #RFABFeb19 | February Wrap-up #allthebooksfeb19 | February Wrap Up https://www.instagram.com/p/BubEB5kHuB0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1l3fjgupoqvsb
